Well just as I figured, the bucket is AWESOME!!! I'm not exactly sure why people are saying that it's just like a five gallon bucket and don't waste your money because.... IT'S DEFINITELY NOT like an ordinary 5 gallon bucket by any means. This is VERY and I do mean VERY nice and top of the line quality. I got it to present a gift to my boyfriend's son for graduation because he is constantly detailing his truck. I filled it with all kinds of cleaners and supplies to detail a vehicle. He ABSOLUTELY loved it. Is soooooo durable and made so nice that I believe it's worth the $40. Plus he loves Yeti. Spending $40 on a gift that someone loves makes the money issue irrelevant. Even the handle is great. It's super durable. The non skid bottom is an excellent idea. It was delivered on time and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.     Obviously its Yeti so a review is kinda not required. But on a personal note, this yeti with the $30 cooler lid is so versatile and so cost effective I cant say enough about it. Camping tables between chairs, stools inside the toyhauler to add seating at the table. We use it in the house as a "picnic basket" to head out to our pool. I received it as a gift with some beef tenderloin 5 yrs ago... ive given as gifts... a yeti tumbler is similar in price and this thing is indestructible. Its not cooler... its not a table... its not a stool and yet it does everything better than any other brand item would to do this. This is a must have. Its got a little finger lip i use 90% of the time carrying it. I feel like everything yeti is $200 and then this little guy for like $65 is my go to.

    Took a while to logically pull the trigger on an what I still consider an overpriced bucket but my main complaint with buckets from Home Depot, Canadian Tire, etc were the handles. Looked into replacing the handle completely or adding something like a SnappyGrip to it but requires effort, trial, and error. All well and good but most buckets are also unsightly. These currently sit beside my modern aquarium with the gear belt attached for miscellaneous fish nets, fish food, bottles, etc., and is not an eye sore. I personally think it’s slick and have no concerns with the handle failing when full with water unlike the other $5 - $10 buckets I’ve used in the past. Handle is quite comfortable. Now...to invest in the $40 lid will require further debate. Although not air tight or even secure...an extra Gamma lid I had sitting around seems to be a sufficient topper and fits within the diameter of the lid and held up with the thinner inner diameter about 2 inches from the lip.
