    This is a great game with many new mini games and Hidden Object games to play. It took many hours to complete which added to the fun. The story line is good and interesting to follow. The characters personas fit them, but their animation has something to be desired. I like games with collectibles, and this one has several types, including some that morph. These may or may not be easy to locate. I enjoyed the whimsy of the art work, and the detail they put into their scenes. I've played this game several times now and really enjoy it. I can't find one of the morphing collectibles, so i will play it again. Quite often i clear the cache on the games so i can start with a fresh game. That gives me the opportunity to look more closely at the scenery and art work while looking for collectibles. I will admit that i had to use the hint button a lot the first few times i played to help me figure out where to go next, but I didn't need the hint to help locating Hidden Objects. I highly recommend buying this game. Because of the length, quality, and intrigue, i feel this game was worth the money I spent on it. Try the trial version if you want to get a feel for the quality of this game before purchasing it. I hope you like it as much as I do.

    Pretty nice game, the music is very well done and atmospheric. Very reminiscent of Myst. The story is a flip on the usual 'save the small child' to 'save the mom' for a change. The voice acting runs hot and cold with the mother being the worse, old favorites do the intro etc. Puzzles are a bit different this time, more fluid and in keeping with the action, part of the environment. The HOs are detailed, range from silhouettes to direct find, you can zoom both in HO and on regular landscape which is nice. New game mechanism with a magic device to reveal hidden areas or do magic, all needing specific charges before use, adds an interesting task to the genre. obligatory furry pet to find objects too high to reach (not my fav game mechanic). The is an upsetting scene with animal abuse/death that may be distressing to children (I did)

    The artwork is astounding, very detailed and lush at times. My only complaint for the game is the graphics are blurred, I am not sure if its the game or my new Fire 10", but its a bit disappointing. I will load an old game that I have screenshots from using my old Fire HD 6' to test, to be honest Im hoping its the game. Right now you have lush gorgeous art seen thru a blur filter, like if you had tried to zoom out too far without adjusting the pixel range.

    regardless, a nice game on deep discount for the holidays.

Things seem to be going very much awry with Artifex lately. Maybe too many absolutely free games? Need to make up losses? Personally I can't afford $$$. I will miss 🎨 of the 🌐 🙈🙉🙊

    Key word here is good! When I purchased this game it was new and on sale from the usual $4.99 price point or I never would have gotten past the intro portion either! So I can say it was a good game! Not Great by any stretch of the imagination! Nothing to make it stand out! I am also outraged at the Stiff increase to pricing! I have not gone past intro on any of their games since the hike! If we stand together maybe they can meet us in the middle, or at least not sell old games for new game pricing!

    If you enjoy these types of games, this is another winner from Artifex Mundi, teamed up with Sunward, (who makes very good adventure/puzzle games with an archeological/historical twist that's really cool, but not in this game.) The story was really good! I started calling the mother Mom, it was very immersive. The artwork was top notch, no question what the objects in the HOBs are. Theres not an overload of HOBs, it's nicely balanced. There was a map, hint button, 4 levels of difficulty-casual, medium, hard & a custom one, where you can set everything to your liking- lower or increase wait times in between hints, etc. You can set hints to recover in 5 seconds, which is nice for people like me who have CRS disorder, lol.. Plus, you can make it harder, if that's how you roll. Get the game while it is still on sale! I think it was 30% off, if I remember correctly.... (CRS....the struggle is real! XD) I played through to the end of the bonus game. It was hard to put down.
