I had a thicker plastic tension rod before and it was difficult to slide the shower curtains. This new shower rod is so beautiful. The curtains glide so easily. It's very shiny and is the perfect length (48-72 inches) for our little larger than average shower. It looks like it came with our new chrome fixtures. Don't know if it will last 20+ years like the last one, but I'm hopeful....it seems to be very good quality for the price $28 with tax.

They were easy to install and have not budged despite how wide the window span is and opening/closing the curtains on a daily basis . We chose the white finish to blend in with the door frame/casing and it looks perfect. The finish is good quality and the sleek style is such that one would never guess that it is a tension rod unless you look very closely - too often tension rods just look clunky and awkward. Definitely would recommend.
