- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2025That alone makes a good movie. Liked this one, followed the Grisham story fairly well.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2025Nice
- Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2024Watching 'The Firm' again (worth a re-watch every decade or so), I enjoy seeing the young Tom Cruise. He has the acting chops in this film, the youthful energy on display, the intensity of a young idealist, and the smooshy soft center of a man in love.
Call it a 'palate cleanser' between Cruise action flicks, such as the MI franchise. He can do some of the stunt man's work, juggle tasks while running to and from criminals in glamourous cities all over the world.
Here, he's in Memphis. A lovely city. Running to and from the most evil of all: lawyers!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2025Great film...intense story.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2024Compelling every minute. All of the actors are great but Cruise is really outstanding. I have watched it many times.
I loved it!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2024Despite all of his accolades, I actually don't think Tom Cruise gets enough recognition for being a talented dramatic actor. He shines here, a sterling performance along with a fantastic supporting cast (Gene Hackman is a legend) combined with a thrilling story. A 90's era classic!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2024Tom Cruise really captures the essence here with all that his character goes through when trying to climb the ladder of success only to find himself completely at odds. The story has its various twists and is well crafted. Gene Hackman as usual shines in his supporting role.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2024This was and still is a very well acted thriller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tom Cruise es garantía
Una historia vieja sin embargo para nada alejada a lo que posiblemente se viva hoy en día y con una actuación muy buena palomera de esas que te gustó verlas

4.0 out of 5 stars Great film but: 4K upgrade is negligible
Great film and absolutely essential repeated viewing.
However the "upgrade" to 4K is negligible. The picture is almost identical to BluRay. If you have BluRay, no real need to get this. If you do not have the BluRay this edition is good / good enough.
Five stars for the film minus one star for the disappointing 4K "upgrade"
