This kit was phenomenal. All 3 components are in perfect condition and the strainers are very fine so barely any little tea particles seep out. Luckily, I drink tea in big mugs but I don't think the chained strainer would fit well in a regular mug for steeping. These are perfect for steeping in a ceramic kettle/teapot or large mason jar (what I use). Definitely recommend for purchase for loose leaf tea lovers!

It feels a little cheap, but it was inexpensive, and it seems like the mesh is plenty small enough to not let too much tea particles out. I have not used it just yet. I ran it through the dishwasher just to make sure it was good and clean.
For the price I think this is what I expected. I’m not a tea snob. It should be fine until I become one. At that time I might go to a tea store and shop for one of a little higher quality.

All three items are made well and I am very satisfied. My favorite is the square infuser that I use at work because it is so easy to use. After I'm done, I toss out the used tea leaved and set it on a dish. Once it dries I just have to gently tap it and all the leaves come right out which is very useful since I don't have a sink at work to wash it with. I will take it home occasionally to clean it in the upper rack of my dishwasher. I've done it once and it came out sparkling and still sturdy. I hope the infuser continues to remain sturdy after it's been cleaned in the dishwasher many times. I'll let you know if it doesn't, but so far it's as good as when I

The spoon is okay, I use it to measure one spoon of Tetley CTC tea for one mug of tea. It is too small for Vahdam tea which takes about 2 spoonfuls for a mug of tea. The strainers are unimpressive. I like the quality of Vahdam tea and assumed they'd sell a high quality infuser. These both leak tea particles into my mug. The pyramid one tends to leak. The other one is easier to use but after a few uses it bends so it does not close completely. I bend it back but I've taken to using a tea strainer sitting on top of my mug to make tea. The strainer I have leaks the same amount of tea these infusers do and it is simpler to use and to clean. I'm just shopping for a finer mesh strainer and I think I'll have a good system for myself.
