54 customers mention "Glue quality"43 positive11 negative

Customers appreciate the glue's quality. It glides easily, leaves enough glue to adhere fabric nicely, and is ideal for gluing small items where provision is required. They have more control over where they put the glue, able to make a very thin line and it dries clear. It allows them to temporarily tack the fabric in place so they can sew without pinning. The glue is soft when applied and doesn't pull the fabric. It holds their pieces in place for a long time and is invaluable for keeping elastic in place while making masks.

It really works
I love that this works. I wish the refills were bigger. See size of pen, the refills could be bigger, which would be a better use of plastic. All the Japanese sewing notions are terrific. This one is no exception. I bought a cheaper knockoff called litprin, it’s in the trash.I’m making 1 inch hexies. It took the original pen plus two refills to get through 100 hexies. I tried scooping out the last bit left when the pen is almost empty, it only did 5 more hexies, and I made a gluey mess. So, I’m saving the empty refill bottles to discard sewing machine needles and bent pins. I will save them for Harikuyo.

I use this when doing hand applique. Holds my pieces in place. This lasts a long time. I purchased the pen & 2 refills April 2023. I just used the 1st refill this month. I am doing more applique now, so I don't expect the refill to last a whole year, but it might. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I used it to baste seams and baste the layers while putting a mug rug together.
It worked nicely for this, the glue was soft when applied and didn't pull the fabric enough to stretch it out of shape.

No complaints other than I wish the glue lasted a little longer. The blue color makes it easier to see on fabric

I purchased this glue pen and refills as recommended to sew zippers and this glue pen does make the process easier to hold the zipper tape in place. While this wouldn't probably be necessary for all applications, I continue to then use clips to make sure all the layers don't move since there is some bulk I am sewing through. This pen makes it very easy to place the glue in the area desired, even if using the entire width of the glue stick which is about 1/4". Highly recommended!
