This registry review was a game changer for me. The concepts were easy to understand. I wanted a book for the CCI RCCS and didn’t want it to be too overwhelming. Ocean ultrasound met all my expectations. After each chapter there are review questions and then at the end of the book there is a practice test with explanations. I can’t say thank you enough to this company! If you want to pass the CCI RCCS then this is the book for you! You will have to put in the effort of studying and learning pediatric echo but this will help you along the way!

This book was good, but I corrected at least 3 wrong answers and the formatting was all over the place. Be willing to study independently and corroborate information with out sources, especially if you feel like something you read wasn't right - your instinct is probably correct!

It's concise and written plainly which makes it easy to understand the pathology being presented. However, it is lacking much pathology. To name a few: TAPVR, double-outlet ventricle, cardiomyopathies, endocarditis, etc.
There also are not many images and/or diagrams for the pathologies being covered. Some only have one images associated with it. There are 202 pages but that's only because of the formating. The material could easily fit into less than 70 pages.
The lack of content and cheap binding (spiral bound) do not justify the asking price. Look elsewhere to get your money's worth. This book should not be worth a penny more than $40 (and that's being generous).
