Pearl Wallace lives the exciting life of an heiress and socialite in 1920’s New York City. That is, until her father’s sudden suicide plunges her into a world of intrigue and mystery. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, Pearl knows in her heart that her father’s death was no suicide. She resolves to stop at nothing as she seeks to unravel the series of events leading to his untimely death, and find the hidden villains who were really responsible. Money, danger and even death, is no object as Pearl works to clear Samuel Wallace’s name.

As an ace pilot and cunning detective, Pearl flies headfirst into a whirlwind adventure which takes her around the world, from the depths of Africa to the heights of the Eiffel Tower. It is a game that I haven't figured the whole scheme about this game. I play a lot of games on my phone or tablet, so, I do know HOW to complete the levels.What I don't get is why the game jumps from finding hidden objects, to looking at a map, then visiting friends or family, and back to finding hidden objects.Many others write that they like this game.It's just a time waster for me.

    This game does not work well for non Facebook people. I'm not on Facebook but I like playing the game; however, twice the game started over from the beginning causing me to loose all I had accumulated. Once I got to Chapter 6 after a lot of playing, building the island, collecting items for Edwin's collections, collecting over 1200 Prestige flowers, and more when I lost everything when the game started over from the beginning. So I started over and to my bewilderment, it happened again after I was about to finish Chapter 3. Again losing everything--my buildings and decorations, prestige, coins, Edwin's collections, and more. I am deleting this game as a result. The game is fun and addictive. You get 10 energies to use at a time on a scene. A scene can use more than the ten so you must wait 20 minutes to get one energy. There's a lot of waiting to build up enough energies--no more than 10 at a time--only to come back and find you've lost all you accumulated. I was told if you log into Facebook and play through that portal they can recover your lost data if the game restarts. Not worth the time for non Facebookers--deleting.

The story is so interesting you keep moving forward to find out what happens next! First game I've enjoyed enough to stick with every day for 4 months now! A bit frustrating if you can't use real money (my husband cut off my funds!). Can't always get enough to buy limited time items because I can't build up my coins fast enough. Sometimes I feel bogged down, it takes 20 mins to refill each energy up to ten, so hours building back to ten, and on a good day I can go through them in10 minutes! But it really is Great Fun!

    The hidden object side of this game is pretty good. It's not ideal on Kindle... Some objects are too small for all but very sharp eyes. Or in to dark an area of the screen. But, overall, the play is fun and reasonably challenging. It's not a straight hidden object game. You have to develop the "island" to unlock new hidden object screens. The combination can be tough without making in-app purchases.

    The real problem I've run into is with bugs. The game only opens once after each time I shut down my Kindle. If I want to play again later, I have to shut down and restart the Kindle. The game also fails to recognize my WiFi ndstwork at random moments, again forcing me to shut down and restart my Kindle.

    Finally, the game locks up randomly. At least once every couple of days. Shutting down my Kindle appears to be the only way to get unstuck.

    So far the fun has outweighed the frustration . But if this game develops any more bugs, I'll delete it.

    I'm so glad Pearl's Peril has been released on Fire. I play this game several times daily, and have for more than a year. It's been my favorite search & find game since downloading, with attractive artwork and sensible item placement. The Adventure Club, offering the option of playing as part of a team and earning additional coins, energy and gifts, has been introduced recently and gives just one more reason to play often.

    One improvement that I would like to see is more land, or further territories on which to expand, as more "prestige" is required to progress to each level, requiring the purchase of buildings or decorations. After a year of play, I'm quickly running out of space to place the items, and my island looks like a jumbled mess! Another nice update would include additional levels or goals added to the "Achievements" rewards for those who've earned most or all of those currently available.

It has in purchase items if you can afford them , but I've played for over a few years now and you don't have to spend any money at all if you can't afford to . I have had a break and gone back to my same beautifully built up game over a year later to find some exciting expansions and I can continue on from where I left off. This game also has an adjoining game ( June's Journey) which I also now enjoy alongside and can be easily reached via a boat ( on the shore line )....really excellent and has helped me build my memory back up .
