I like the colors of these remote control covers / protectors because it helps the Roku remotes stand out from the rest. Most remotes are black and tend to look alike, at least to me they do. I use the different colors to differentiate between the different remotes. The bright colors of the covers make it harder to lose the remote in a dark background. It is so easy to lose a remote when they are all basic black. I color coordinate my Roku remotes so I know which remote belongs in which room. I currently have three separate Roku remotes. It makes my life a little easier and that is worth the modest price of these colorful remote covers. I highly recommend these covers and this seller. A quality product from a quality seller.

Protects my Roku from breaking
Does what I hoped. My 8 year old son is rough on stuff. Every time he dropped the Roku controller the back fell off and batteries went flying. After each drop- it became worse and eventually the controller went into about 15 pieces!Bought a new remote and put this cover on it. No more problems! Bonus that it glows in the dark 😉Only drawback- the string/holder thingy ripped through the case, and it seems to be easily torn otherwise I'd give 5 stars.Overall good purchase.

The light blue glow in the dark is not as bright as I thought it would be, but it does indeed glow in the dark. Just very subtle. The reviews I’ve seen of complaints are mostly just people not paying attention to what remote this case is made for. It fits my remote perfectly! (There is no headphone jack slit on the case because the remote it’s made for does not have a headphone jack...)
I will also mention that the strap I received is the same color as the remote. I personally like it better than the black strap that is advertised but just in case that’s an issue for someone, now you know. :)
EDIT: now that I’ve owned this case for a while, the “glow” is definitely much brighter than when I first got it! I think it just needed some light exposure, but it definitely glows as much as I was expecting now!
