    This unit is used in many name brand setups. So I decided to get the motor from the source instead of paying for the markup of a famous name just renaming or sometimes not even renaming it. Installed into housing very easy. I wish they shipped motor with power cord or at least gave you the option to purchase it. I had to remove my old worn out cable just to get it running. Then order a cable and install it again. This was not thought out by puri tech. But the motor is quiet and works, slightly less power than original even though they are rated the same. I would buy it again.

    Purchased this motor to replace the original factory motor on a 15 year old pump.
    The new motor lasted less than a year and was replaced under warranty. The second new motor didn’t last more than 2 years and has gone out again. Would not recommend.

    Got the new motor quickly and installed it the same day. Took about 2 hours to do taking my time especially with the electrical. Housing gasket and lid o ring was wrong for my pump but luckily I was able to reuse the two original. All other seals were correct. It seems there could be a couple of different sized housing gaskets included instead of just the one. All in all a good experience.
