Our son is almost 6 year old and 48", and I bought him an L-7 size. It fits perfectly.
The T-shirt looked great, exactly as in the picture (some reviewers showed pictures of T-shirts with tiny prints, but ours was fine). The material is ok, but not the best, I found the cotton a little bit thin.
My son was very happy wearing it!

I read the reviews before ordering, and it seemed that quality on this shirt was hit or miss, I took a gamble... and won. I ordered my son the L7 size, he's almost 6 and 46" tall. This shirt fits perfectly, is a decent quality, and the image is as described. There is no "vinegar" odor on the shirt I received. I am pleased and my son loves it!
