I bought these pads for my random orbital sander to remove the finish off of the wood slats of my outdoor garden bench. Over the years, it took a beating from the elements and it was time to sand it down to bare wood. Not only did the material hold up without falling apart, but they performed extremely well and made taking off the finish nearly effortless. The set gives you every grit you'll ever need. In fact, I probably won't ever use some of the ultra-fine pads, but the set was such a great deal, it was still worth it. There's just no need to go out to the home centers and spend boo koo bucks on them when you can get this set for WAY less! They work really well!
