- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2025I got this for my General Anatomy & Physiology class, on recommendation from a friend. It is so helpful! I like that it had plenty of information to supplement what I was learning in class. I passed the class and am now using it again in Advanced Anatomy & Physiology!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2020I bought this book for my niece, who is studying for the RHDS exam. She finds it good, as far as it goes. However, it's a little too basic for her needs. I am helping her study, and I see what she means. The entire section on the skeletal system only comprises pages 89 to 115, inclusive. In addition, we didn't like the use of humor in the book, but I think almost all of the "Dummies" books are written that way. If you're just looking for an overview of human anatomy and physiology, however, this will probably be okay. And, if you're a high school student, this should fill the bill as well. But for professional people, beyond the high school level, I think the book is a little light. It does contain diagrams, and it explains human anatomy and physiology in terms anyone can understand. If you stick with it, you can read it in a day easily. It wasn't a total loss for my niece; she just needs more.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2024I took A&P last year and wanted a book to help me refresh what I learned, and this definitely does the job! I was suprised how a years worth of college A&P content was able to fit into this book and be so simplified! Definitely wish I had this as a study tool.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2023This book is clear and informative. It's fairly helpful to use alongside the college textbook.
It says in the opening that you can get through it in a couple of sit downs. Unfortunately for me, I am either very stupid or just too disinterested in this subject to move through it that quickly. It took me a couple of hours to get through two chapters. Hating every minute of this topic. Good luck to everyone facing this prerequisite. Don't worry I'm not becoming a nurse. Thank God for us all.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2024I got this book as a first time college student taking A&P together. It is as described but idk if it is as helpful as I thought it would be.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pésimo producto
Me enviaron un libro usado, rayado, subrayado y hasta con post it's para separar páginas, eso no es un descuido pues claramente se ve que es usado, me decepciona este vendedor

5.0 out of 5 stars In depth
A good intro to anatomy and physiology, goes into quite some depth on the subject and packed with information. Can be quite hard to remember but useful if studying and advisable to read more than once.
