I've been using these industrial strength Sharpie pens for several years now, so much so that I keep a marker in each of various places around the house and in my shed. They tend to get misplaced while using them, so finding a box of 36 is a great find! And not only that, the price is better than buying them singly or in the popular 3-pack. Now when I need a marker right away, if I misplace one I can go back to the "big" box and be assured I don't have to spend a half hour hunting down the others.
I use these to mark canning jar lids, PVC pipe projects, etc. They do not smear and are waterproof ink. The only way I can remove the markings is with pure acetone, which works well for the laminated labels I created for use with my food jars. When the fine tips start to wear down a bit, they get transferred to use with garden and outdoor projects. It's a handy rotation system, and it takes a long time before any ink dries out. Usually I lose them before that ever happens, though. I highly recommend these for truly permanent all-purpose projects!
