- Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2020The author did an excellent job breaking down the fundamentals of a skill that has so many facets and explains them in an order and fashion that not only makes sense, but you as the reader will discover what you've been neglecting and why some things have a correction factor. GREAT Read
- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2017For the price, you are getting a real gem. I deleted it by mistake and will probably buy it again via kindle. It covers a lot considering it is not a large book but doesn't have a lot of "fluff" but good solid instruction. Should be in every persons library who is interested in marksmenship and shooting the rifle. He covers a lot of ground and in a way you can absorb the info.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2020Quite a useful reminder of proper procedure.
Many useful ideas, a great read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2018Thank you Pseudonym Sniper, this is exactly the resource that I was looking on my road to learning precision shooting. Very informative, a great read for anyone that is interested in learning marksmanship or improving their marksmanship abilities. Speaking as a novice, you'd be hard pressed to find a better book on the subject in my opinion.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2017See above, very shallow info....needs to go deeper!! I rather read Long range shooting from Ryan Kleckner! Love his book....waiting for his second book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2020Excellent advice for those entering the long range shooting game. However, there is basic truth in the fundamentals of rifle shooting period. If you have a big enough wallet you can buy precision equipment. You will not achieve accuracy however if you cannot practice the fundamentals the author presents. Makes no difference 25 meters to 1000 meters.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2017PS (pseudonym sniper) could have written a spreadsheet for shooting acronyms and this "book" would have covered the topic better. Some statements about ballistic coefficient requirements for hunting bullets are just false. Don't believe that one bullet, one rifle, one caliber, a couple of different optics are the answer for equipment. And don't limit yourself on shooting positions or circumstances. There are scores of fine long range hunting bullets and cartridges available. Heavy high ballistic coefficient hunting bullets are becoming the standard for a large number of F-Class shooters today. Shot placement skill is more important than the BC or muzzle velocity of your bullet. That target can't tell you a thing about what it was hit with. The same is true for hunting targets. Targets can reveal how well the bullet stayed on course for the distance
It is limiting to inexperienced shooters to make blanket claims about best combinations of equipment or techniques for any type of shooting. It is irresponsible to believe that attempting to shoot any animal at 1000 yards is safe, ethical or capable for more than 1% of long range shooters. This is under the best of circumstances. I haven't met one in 50 years of hunting, competition and involvement in hunter education.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems good
Seems good going by it repeating information from other sources etc. Will see about trying to include\use some of its tips.
Granted with air weapons, so it's not a direct 1:1 with some of it, but principles are the same
