Buy the cheaper, upgraded part instead!
This part, and the idler, are of terrible, cheap design. Both have now failed in my five year old dryer. Replacement is easy, just buy the much cheaper and improved parts with bearings instead of this one.To those recommending grease: Grease will not fix the issue. Lint, debris, and especially hair, become stuck between the roller and spindle, creating friction and eventually wearing or seizing the bushing and spindle. Bearings solve the issue and should have been in the original design.

    One reviewer wrote that these are not OEM parts. I'm not sure how they can even tell. The units I received look identical to the OEM units I took out of my dryer. There isn't a Samsung logo or anything else that would tell you for sure it is OEM. They did come in a plastic bag. So what? Doesn't prove anything one way or another. Regardless, the bottom line is these work great. If you're dryer is vibrating a lot or sounds like it has sneakers rolling around in it start with these parts. The only bad part is this is the most involved repair you will make on this dryer. It requires taking it down to the studs so to speak which is one reason I bought OEM instead of the many copycats out there. The first set of rollers lasted 11 years. Definitely doable just takes time. Well worth the money you save to do it yourself.

    EDIT: The dryer was quiet for about a week then the noise came back. I ended up replacing the blower wheel and that permanently fixed the issue. I do recall one of the old rollers being stuck and not spinning freely when I removed it so it's hard to say exactly which one was the cause or if both were. Knowing what I know now, I would suggest replacing both the drum rollers and blower wheel at the same time. They are both moving parts that wear out so you might as well just change them out while you have the dryer open, especially if your dryer is several years old as mine is. The cost of the parts is negligible compared to the time spent taking the dryer apart and putting it back together. Don't forget to vacuum all the lint out while you're at it.

    Due to all the negative reviews on dryer roller 'packages' (4 rollers, belt, tensioner) commenting on poor longevity and poor quality, I decided to try for a part advertised as OEM, with a warranty (1 year for this part). I replaced only the obviously failed part, the one roller in back near the electric burner and exhaust (there is no heat shield protecting that roller, which seems to be a poor design). This new part appears to be an OEM part. I will track how long it lasts, and comment here if it does not last long. I installed the new roller in front, moving one of the existing rollers (known to be OEM) to the back.
