Right out of the package, the tablecloth had lots of deep wrinkles. Washed it immediately; wrinkles were still there. Ironed on low setting; wrinkles went away completely. It's lightweight and a bit thin (sheer), but on my black table, it looks great. The 54" x 54" size leaves 6" overhang on each side of my 42" x 42" table, which is perfectly to my liking. Hemmed ends are good quality, with some small stray threads at the corners that can be trimmed off easily. Haven't had the opportunity to test spill resistance. Well worth the price. If concerned about the sheerness, order the color that best matches your table, or consider getting two and doubling them up.
