Great family game!
If you have a family and have grown tired of the likes of Mario party, fire this up for some really great family bonding time!! It requires teamwork and communication along with a PLAN to cook different meals in the ever more exotic kitchens. The best part is that it really can be as challenging as you want it....with younger kids moving to next level with 1 star is not very difficult....but if your family seeks a challenge those 3 star ratings require a well oiled machine!

    Chop chop chop chop chop chop....This game is so awesome for groups. It takes literally 30 seconds to explain how to play and so people can jump in quickly.

    Be warned though, since it is all team based you'll likely start to see people's personalities come through and you may encounter one or more of the following:

    1. "If only everyone would listen to me" - Barks out commands during, blames after failure.
    2. Scatterbrain - Doesn't stick to one task, forgets any assignments, might see them running back and forth not actually accomplishing anything.
    3. "I only want to do this one thing" - Will chop so many onions that every surface has chopped onions on it, but you only need mushrooms for the current soup order.

Others may disagree, but the game is challenging enough without sections that disconnect, rodents stealing the food, and silly layouts. I'm not a game maker, but I would have preferred to have had an ever increasingly menu complexity with additional ingredients. That would have gave us the feeling of becoming better chefs

    We bought this game for my daughter for Christmas (she is 11, and loves to cook). This turned out to be so fun, that we went out and bought more PS4 controllers, the day after Christmas, so we could ALL play. Very fast paced game, but sometimes I get a little overly competitive. :/ It can bring out the "ugly" in you, if your team-mate isn't pulling their weight. This game forces you to come up with different strategies until you find one that works. TEAMWORK. We love it. I highly recommend! A game that has no violence, no bad language, no sensuality/nudity, is a wonderful breath of fresh air. As you progress through the game, it gets more difficult with different scenarios (making food in the dark, frying fish and chips on ice, having to use a flashlight,) so it is quite challenging.

    This game is great!! My kids love it and so do my husband and I! My 4 kids range from age 6 to 14 and they all love it! Great for all age groups! It does get pretty challenging as the game progresses, but my 6 year old still loves it and so does my 39 year old husband! It's definitely a group game that takes A LOT of team work!! You can play it alone but it's not nearly as much fun with just one person. Get ready for some yelling and friendly arguing though as this game can really test your limits! Super fun and I 100% recommend buying this game!

    It can be hard to find games that I can play with all three kids at once (not that they don't exist, I have several), but this is a wonderful example of one that both allows four players and keeps them totally engaged. Hearing their personalities come out in their approaches to the game ('guys, we need a strategy!' 'strategy talk is boring, let's just play!') is an extra treat, of course. The goals to pass each stage vary by the number of players, so the challenge scales well, and there's good replayability - they keep going back to some of the harder levels to get that third star. The excitement and high-fiving when they finally get it are a delight to watch.

    1. Each map is original and different and DIFFICULT making it fun and competitive
    2. You have to work together and make plans for each map so the teamwork is a great aspect to this game
    3. The storyline is funny and cute
    4. You have to do other tasks such as washing dishes or putting out fires and when playing co-op, cooking is not always the most important part. Sometimes you have one person plating all the food and washing dishes and the other person cooking. Its very different from any other game
    5. The soundtrack is awesome, its family friendly, an affordable game and one of the best couch co-ops I have ever played
