I am so happy to see and hear the happiness in my granddaughters eyes and voice over being able to access all kids of games on nick jr. she is in love. Paw patrol her fav. I will recommend this to anyone who has an intelligent youngster .
Works great on Kids Fire HD tablet. My 3 year old loves that shes able to watch her favorite nick jr shows and play games. Theres full episodes for Paw patrol, shimmer & Shine, etc. If you do not have a cable provider it does let you watch a few full episodes but not many most do require you to sign in with your provider. The app is very easy to navigate my 3 year old knows where to go to find what shes looking for and everything is age appropriate. Its great being able to hand her the tablet and know that if shes using this app shes not getting into anything that is not appropriate for her age.Only negative that I can think of is that it does asks me a few times to sign in. Every few days or so it will ask me to sign in again which can be a bit annoying but other than that it works great. We love it!
Really great quality app, I was actually a beta tester for it, since release we have had absolutely no issues at all with it. Both of my kids absolutely love all golf the different activities, characters and games. There is more then enough content to keep a younger child interested for as long as you might need. I'd say this app is best suited for kids from 2-6 years of age. My son plays on it every single day, it's his go to entertainment on our tablet. I would highly recommend this app for anyone interested in a child safe, engaging and full experience for their kids.
This app is AMAZING!!!!!! My 2-year-old little brother loves to watch Nick Jr and we went on a trip recently so we needed a way for my brother to still be able to watch his shows for the week, and that's when I found the nick Jr app!!! Its great quality and there's is no bug or anything in the app!!!! No glitches!!! And its great for kids!!! You can have all of their favorite Nick Jr shows, ON THE GO!!!!! Now my brother can watch it on my tablet anytime!!! And, there's more!!!! If you sign in to your TV network, you can get even more full episodes!!!! Its an amazing app!!! And I encourage everyone w/ littles to get it!!!!!! 👍
One days I use Nick JR and this times I come back and it only has 9 games! I don't know what you're doing here but where is Smile & Style with Sunny and you need back games I like, like Like It or I miss What's Inside and it's still good but bring back the good games and also Sticker Pictures doesn't work anymore Stickers is a trap until later and I also use Noggin and certain games don't open there and Noggin says I'm offline when I'm not and then breaks all the games and videos but not downloads so please fix all of this.
Bring Music Maker back and I would also like to see the silly Alphabet Buttons
Overall kids love it. Only problem is sometimes it is glitchy and won't load. Or if it is running it crashes and won't restart. Typically then the kindle fire will display an error that can't connect to amazon app store. However there is no data issue if using other apps works fine, plus all other devices are using wifi normally. Generally restart the kindle fire and takes care of the issue. Just a problem because any kid (including ours) thinks it is a absolute tragedy to wait for anything! Admittedly the oldest is a "button pusher" and tries to do a million things at once, but she is completely normal for her age. So designers should have anticipated this. (All kids are <5yr old) But they love the shows (peppa pig, paw patrol, etc) and it works more often than it fails.
I cannot give this more than an average review. The app works fine, but the video choices for a user who does not have a cable provider are very poor. The games are okay for the age group. I would gladly pay Nick a modest price to have access to their content digitally, but there is no option for that. Most of the video content is walled off by the consumer unfriendly business practice of requiring a cable subscription. I wish the app had an option to hide the videos you cannot watch. Also, the app has far too many short video segments from shows. Something my child does not enjoy. She still likes the app though, so that is why it gets a 3.
My daughter loves this app. There's so many different characters and she loves exploring all the different things in this app. My only request is they develop it where you can still access even SOME things offline. She can not use this app unless she is on Wifi or using the hotspot on my phone. It is just a pain to have to make sure she is always connected. Even limited access would be nice.
I wouldn't know how Nick Jr. and its shows are simply because Amazon like so many other companies in the US mainland discriminate against its customers who don't reside in the US mainland by not allowing them access to many things. I live in the Virgin Islands and I purchased recently for my daughter a Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition tablet. I was promised unlimited access to various shows upon purchase by an Amazon representative. That did not happen. Also, because I don't live in the US mainland certain apps that I would try and download for my daughter, Nick JR. being one of them, won't allow me to download it because of where I live. So my review for Nick JR. presently is 1 star. I would rate it lower if I could. I don't think I will ever understand why these US companies discriminate against a person's location and then claim to be a company that caters to international customers. But such is life. Their loss. If you want the total benefits that comes with the Kids Fire tablet and you live outside of the US mainland then I suggest you purchase something else.
