It might be working..

It might be working..
As far as I know, it might be working. We’ve had record setting rain and I’m not sure if it’s the added Humic Acid or the rain that has help the soil. My garden is looking incredible- better than ever. I’ve also sprinkled into my potted plants and raised beds- since minerals leach faster there I’m thinking this has helped. My Foxgloves are about 10 feet high!

I always amend my veggies beds when changing over with Down to Earth Organic Humic Acid. I was told that when you use it you will not notice anything happening, which is true. This product works really well on the growing and finishing of a vegetable, especially lettuces, cabbage, brocolli etc. The humic acid helps especially well with heading up cabbage heads so they are nice and tight. Humic acid also works really good with sweet peppers. I amend the beds a couple of times through the growing season. It seems to help the sweet peppers have nice thick walls. One of my garden favorites

The 'granulated' state of this product is not 'water soluble'. So, I ground it into a flour size, then added it into the compost tea solution. I believe it will work... we will see.

I have given 5 stars but actually have not had visible results yet. After doing research, I have very good expectations this product will provide the soil loosening my large 50 year old boxwood shrub sorely needs. I don't want to disturb the soil surface, but due to drought and excessive heat the soil is now compacted and doesn't accept watering. I feel this product Down To Earth Granular Humic Acids will be tough enough and gentle enough to loosen the soil for better watering so I can get some fertilizer down to the feeder roots. For years, I relied upon mulching with leaf litter which as it composts has its own humics, but unseasonable winds blew the mulch away. I don't want to use more flammable materials so the answer to me seems to amend the soil, and then dig in a good compost. At any rate adding the humic acids will be overall beneficial.

Humic acid alone isnt a miricle ammendment that provides instant results like a nitrogen rich fertilizer. It's real majic is how it helps to break down organic nutrients and how it aids in the roots obsorbtion of them. A very vital part of any organic soil that should be utilized. I use down to earth organic soil ammendments exclusively when building super or living soils and humic acid is high on the list of ammendments. If your serious about organic growing or if you want to improve existing soil this is a must have ammendment to create balance and diversity. Well worth the price.
