I love this pouch, but don’t make the same mistake I did!

I love this pouch, but don’t make the same mistake I did!
So, the other day I went to Dog Beach wearing my new treat pouch/poop bag holder thing. I had stuffed the mesh pocket in front with some treats that our trainer had described as “really stinky and good.”Apparently, she was right about the smelly treats. As soon as we got to the beach, several dogs swarmed around me, nosing my pouch. It was actually thrilling to walk down the beach feeling like I had hordes of canine admirers pursuing me, like the Beatles running from screaming fans in old film clips.Dogs would gather around me, begging for a treat, and after asking their humans if it was okay, I would give them one. Some of the dogs were a bit insistent, but most of them asked nicely and waited for me to treat them. But then, as I was walking further down the beach, I felt a tug at my pouch and saw that one dog was ripping into the pouch and helping himself. Two other dogs came up and joined the feeding frenzy. In an effort to keep my new pouch from being ripped to shreds, I pulled away, but the first dog wouldn’t let go. In the tumult, I ended up down in the sand. When I pulled the remaining treats out of my ripped pouch, the ripper dog chomped on my finger trying to get them. The rude dog’s owner came along and called his beast off. In lieu of an apology, he said, “You brought treats to Dog Beach? Rookie mistake!” It really came as no surprise that the dick dog’s owner was also a dick.I adore dogs, and through my love for them, I have found it easy to forgive them and all their quirks, their good and bad behavior, as just dogs being dogs. I’ve lately found it helpful to apply that same attitude toward people. When someone is annoying and, say, doesn’t apologize for their dog ripping my new pouch, it helps me to think of their a-hole behavior as just humans being humans.I can’t control what my others among my own feral primate species do, but I can accept that some people will be jerks, and I can try to not be one of them. Though, I suspect some humans might benefit from some good training, and some may do well with a muzzle...and a shock collar. 🤪

I think this pouch is probably one of the best things I bought in preparation for bringing home an 8 week old puppy (now 13 weeks old). I use this pouch often while inside the house as well as literally every time I take my puppy outside. This pouch is great for so many reasons!

-3 different ways to wear (belt, clip, strap; I personally like belt the most because its is sturdy and not at risk of falling off my person, and the buckle is study enough that it needs a good strong pinch to actually come undone; never worried about it coming undone when my dog is tethered to me and he pulls)
-Lots of pockets (can be closed by cinch/zipper... the large main pocket is enough to hold a CONSIDERABLE amount of treats; I like to carry 2 baggies of treats and a small toy with me so I can change it up while training my dog... and I actually really LOVE the front mesh pocket, especially when I have to take my dog out in the dark; I turn flashlight mode on on iphone, place in pocket, and Wa-La! I have a hands-free flashlight that's angled down just right so I can find my dog's poop in the dark) AND a poopy bag holder/dispenser (holds 2 rolls; good for when I get down to my last poopy bag, but the puppy decides he needs to poop twice ;_; )
-2 hooks (I like to attach a carabiner to one so I can tether puppy to me and keep treats close by for training; frees up my hands; the other hook I like to use to hold poop bag til I can dispose of while we are on walks)
-Materials is durable and easy to clean (no ripping, fraying, or broken parts after SUBSTANTIAL daily use; can wipe down easily with a wet paper towel... haven't tried tossing it in washer/dryer, but I suspect it would hold up very well)

I actually originally bought two of this product, but I don't know why -- considering how the 1 I am using has held up so ridiculously well with how much use I'm giving it. Definitely recommend!

I bought the Paw Lifestyles Dog Treat Training Pouch for my dog's puppy training classes, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. The pouch is incredibly convenient and makes it super easy to carry all the essentials—pet toys, kibble, treats, and even has a built-in poop bag dispenser, which is perfect for cleaning up messes on the go.

The pouch is well-designed with separate compartments, ensuring everything is neatly organized and readily accessible. This has made our training sessions much more efficient and enjoyable, as I can quickly reward my pup without any fuss.

The material is durable and easy to clean, which is an added bonus. I also appreciate how the pouch can be worn around the waist or slung across the shoulder, making it very comfortable to carry during long walks or training sessions.

Overall, I highly recommend the Paw Lifestyles Dog Treat Training Pouch to anyone in puppy training or who just wants a hassle-free way to carry their dog's essentials while out and about. It's a great product that has made training and outings with my dog much more pleasant.

Love this treat pouch, great for training sessions and life on the go with a pup. I've been wearing it daily with the belt strap since I got it, I do quick training sessions throughout the day so this has made it so much easier to always have treats on me and to reward good behaviors whenever I see it. The pouch is sturdy and we'll made. Nice options to have shoulder strap or belt clip, I'll admit I've only used it belt style- the strap is very wide and comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I loveeee the Multiple pockets, I kind of use it like a fanny pack haha- I put treats in the main deep pocket( I use a small ziplock bag for the treats to keep it fresh and the bag clean bc I also put my phone in there if I have no pockets) the cinch feature works well to keep things from falling out when being active, poop bags in the back, anything valuable in the zipper section like ID/CC, and my mask and hand sanitizer in the mesh pocket(hopefully I can use it for something else soon). I might look a bit crazy wearing it everyday and everywhere, but it has freed up my hands to deal with my 62lb 6 months old puppy. A must have if you want to work on positive reward training with your dog young or old! Some might find it a bit too big or bulky, but I like the fact it's a generous size. I used to work at a dog daycare and have used a few different types of treat pouches in the past, I wish I had found this one before!

On the one hand, it's very useful. You can wear it over your shoulder, use the belt that comes with it, or clip it to your own belt/waistband. Holds a decent amount of treats, as well as poop bags.

There are 2 downsides. The interior can get pretty grubby, maybe I don't clean it often enough but I usually end up having to scrub with a brush. I have tried using sandwich bags inside, but I kept missing the opening of them, which gets frustrating (but yes, that's a me issue)

The second is that it only lasts a little over a year if used a lot. I purchased my current one in February of 2021, and I'm about to get a replacement (April 2022). The side seams are tearing, which affects its shape, ie the top slouches more which makes an admittedly small difference in the ease of reaching for treats. There's also a vinyl-type coating on the inside of the small zippered section in the back that disintegrates.

On the other hand, I AM buying my third. It is hands down the best treat bag I've ever used, despite needing replacing every year.

I love this bag. It holds a lot of treats, great size for treat training. Plus it holds my keys and other things needed for training. Only downside was the bags that come with it don’t last very long they start to unravel right away but I just use a ziplock freezer bag instead and it works great.

Loved this item, was very expensive for a treat bag, but fed up of cheap ones falling apart. This is amazing quality but sadly only used 6 times before a seam came undone meaning the zipper fell off, the net started to cone off & I could not use. However, within a few hours of mailing, I received a full refund, from excellent customer service! I’m hoping I was unlucky & will be re-ordering

The bag tore at the sides just after 2 uses. This is not surprising at all given the inferior workmanship on this. I would reject this even if it were given to me free of charge. Absolute trash!
