This is a must have book for anyone slightly interested in having a good handle on any health issue covered within. Very thorough, sound advice from a functional medicine perspective.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2016All I can really say is that this is generally usefu in a broad sense. I give it 4 stars because it provides most of it's information in a straightforward chart-like format, but covers so many things so as to be uselessly superficial on some topics. Information given IS very specific and to-the-point when suggestions/remedies/cautions/conditions are discussed. Practical natural medicines are not often that simple though, so it is useful more as a general reference(i.e. "have I forgotten something? Let me check my resources before making a recommendation.") than a guide to actual client care. No single book is a complete guide for anything, and so I consider this book one useful resource for learning and ongoing practice.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2016Love it! Practical, informative, up-to-date, and very useful in the clinic. Great as a review as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2018Well resourced text of both allopathic and alternative be medicine. As an ARNP, I love it!
