- Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2016the e-book You Were Stabbed Where?: Real Stories from a Small-Town ER is the third book that I have read from the author Kerry Hamm. I obviously enjoy her books if I keep reading them. I would recommend that the author re-edit parts of the book because either words are left out of a sentence here or there or she possibly dropped sentences in a couple of the stories. Her stories are entertaining, some are sad and or stupid. I intend to read the other three of her books that I've collected. She's a good writer and her stories are insightful.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2023I absolutely LOVE reading these books. The way the author writes makes me feel like I'm there. And it makes me thankful that I'm not working in the ER like I had wanted too. I'd probably end up writing a lot of books too. I fully enjoy these books and look forward to reading more by this author.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2025For me this was a fun read.. not laughing watching my favorite comedian funny but there were some amusing ones, one's where I swear my brain short circuited, and plenty where WTF! kept going through my head.
Every time I think I've heard the wackiest ones from medical shows (not the scripted ones ) and books.. something even more out there/crazier was up next or a story or two away.
There was one especially where a GibbsSmack would have been warranted.
The last one... I don't know if I'd forgive my friends quickly (or at all) for that one.
Would recommend this one and I'm definitely gonna get the others as soon as I can.
This one is book two... I chose this first because that title caught my eye the most at that moment :) 👍🏼
- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2021Really fun stories...wonderful bedtime reading. I worked in healthcare for 40 years. What are 99s? Your books are getting better!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2016Another in a series of books from our favorite ER registration lady. Yes not the docs not the nurses the ER registration lady and not some hot shot trauma center. This is a book for you if you want the drama not the trauma. All the nuts, self absorbed people, and crazy situations that go on in this small town ER make Bellevue look tame or maybe Bellvue's registration lady needs to write a book. Highly recommend and you don't need to start from Book one as the Author smartly catches you up.

Poorly written drivel.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ok
Definitely not in the UK. Wouldn’t want her shifts or the patients she talks about. And we thought UK NHS was bad/busy/abused!
