This new bottle is crap. Ordered 3 of them and the new bottle/formula is worthless. Daughters butt normally approves after one application of the old. Now after multiple applications of this new crap and her butt is still red. The new formula is thin, watery/oily and not worth the money. Hope to return or exchange. Extremely disappointed after 5 years of using the product regularly.
This product is awesome!! It's a clean, controlled and easy application versus regular baby powder that somehow magically gets all over the place. Not to mention, no more diaper rash on baby! I've read several comments from other consumers regarding the separation of the product, I haven't experienced this yet but it is possible depending on where the product was stored and temperature (Heat - no doubt will cause separation). But I took someone else's advice on not allowing air to get inside the bottle, storing in a cool place and each application has been consistent.
This stuff is amazing. I can't believe they stopped selling it in the stores by me. Thank goodness for Amazon. You apply it like a cream and then it dries to a powder finish. I use it for heat rashes, which is similar to a diaper rash. You usually get it in areas with creases that sweat, like the inside of your legs where they meet the vaginal area and also where the leg meets up with the side of your stomach and also underneath your breasts. I work outside and I am also overweight so I am highly susceptible and this cream works almost immediately.
This is a fantastic product versus traditional powders. I appreciate that it dries down to a powdery finish. Perfect for my baby's skin. The packaging could be improved though. You have to shake it once it reaches the last 1/3 of the bottle. Otherwise it will be separated and not have the same effect.
I love the easy use. This is a real cream to powder. We use in our baby each change diaper. The only issue I found is that you need to mix very well before each use because the formula tends to separate in solid an liquid.
I thought I was ordering Burt’s bees diaper cream because I didn’t even know this existed and when I got it I doubled checked and it was my fault I got this and opened it without actually reading it. Well needless to say this is complete nonsense. I guess it’s supposed to be a diaper cream that “turns into powder”. In reality it’s the worst diaper cream. If your baby has a rash this will do nothing for it and it just dissolves and disappears. Don’t buy this just get real diaper cream. Burt’s bees brand of actual diaper cream is amazing but this trash shouldn’t even be allowed to be called diaper cream. Don’t waste your money.
The lotion is smooth and dries to powder, although becomes crumbly. I bought as an alternative to baby powder but my LO ends up with a red bum (I’m guessing from moisture) I will be going back to drying with tissues after wet wipes.
I’m sure this lotion to powder will be nice after a bath on arms and legs, just not under diaper
Love this ointment!! Have read some review about it separating- you just have to keep it shaken up before you use. Works great at home in controlled temps, I’ve only had it separate in the diaper bag when it gets hot but all you have to do is shake before use to re-mix it. LOVE the powdery finish and cleanness!
We love the Burts Bees line of products. We trust them on our baby and this diaper rash creme seems to be the only brand our baby responds to. It will clear up her rash in a day or less and seems to really do the trick.
