I should have known better than to try to save a lot of money, but the seller rating was good, so I gave it a try. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered my screen protector on May 23rd and it arrived on June 13th. Inside the box, the screen protector was wedged between two pieces of foam as well being inside a thin protective film cover. This is not enough protection for international air travel. The screen is heavily cracked and unusable. I should have checked to see if the seller had a return policy before I bought, which they don't. Lesson learned.

He uses no other protective case, as this is all he needs to protect the screen from the usual *droppage* that all users experience from time to time. :) The only caution I would give is that if you like to keep your phone in your back pocket, the edges of this protector will crack pretty quickly.

I believe that it will protect the glass screen in the event of an accidental drop. The screen protector is clear like glass and it is difficult to detect it because it is so clear. For less than $2.00, this is cheap insurance against glass breakage on your iPhone! I am so happy with this product that I am ordering three more for my wife and our two teenagers. These things can be a real bitch to install, capturing bubbles and dirt with their static, but after using a micro-fiber cleaning cloth and blowing away any dust in the area with a little canned air the coating of fluid on the protector allowed for seamless, one touch, simple attachment to my phone. What a pleasure! After some use just a simple wipe with a cloth (or even my t-shirt) brings it back to looking like new. I'm happy.
