    This game is an entertaining and educational timekiller. In this game, you swipe your finger from letter to letter diagonally, horizontally, and vertically, in order to spell words of the specified length at the bottom of the screen. Only a couple words (from one to three, I believe) per level will count, being perspectives. Once you complete a correct word, the letters involved "pop" and the rest of the letters continue the level in the same manner. Once all of the specified words in a level are found, you advance to the next level. After completing a set of levels, all of which have an aquatically themed name (e.g. coral, urchin, etc.), you will receive two bonus hints until later in the game, when I believe that completing a level set gives no hints. Hints can be collected and are used by tapping the "Use Hint (your amount of hints)" button in the bottom right of your screen. They reveal the first letter of a word not yet found within that level that has not been revealed through hints yet. Hints can also be bought from the Hint Shop through in-app purchases in large quantities, which has the added bonus of removing the small advertisements at the bottom of your screen, as well as received through Daily Challenges, which is a single level of few word(s), often involving rather long ones (e.g. rainbows, strength), which awards one hint after being completed. One Daily Challenge is presented per 24 hours. Other languages can be set, each with individual progress on each language, which is often very useful for people learning or using other languages. Wow, so many words describing a simple word game. I really recommend this game; ignore the hating reviews about being hard to understand (seriously? It's so simple) or not accepting your words (it is explicitly explained I the instructions that only specified words count, for the sake of difficulty); get this game.

    P.S. When I entered "in-app purchases", it auto-corrected to "non-stop purchases". Imagine that.

    Love the game and have it loaded on a number of my devices. My frustration is in how to get more clues. On one device I can get a free clue every hour if I watch a video. On another device I get a free clue by watching a video every three hours. But, on my Kindle Fire 6 I can only get one free clue a day by doing a puzzle of the day. I have purchased clues when there was a "special purchase". I would have liked to purchase the Halloween special for my Kindle Fire but for some reason the transition wouldn't go through and it was only offered once and I would have liked a contact number or email address. A big problem I have on my Kindle Fire 6 is that I often touch the device in the wrong place and lose all the clues I have.

    I LOVE THIS GAME but I sure would like to be able to get a different version for my Kindle Fire 6. I would highly recommend this game.

    I'm only giving it a 4 because I'm so frustrated with the clue situation on my Kindle Fire 6. Pl

    I was a huge fan of the original Word Bubbles game. I was not opposed to pay for hints when I got up into the higher levels. But after awhile, after using up the paid for hints, I deleted it completely off my Kindle.
    Later, after not finding another game that was as enjoyable, I downloaded what I thought was the original game. NOT SO!!
    This new game is awful. Once going through a few levels, the screen suddenly had four bubbles with the letters JACK, and it would not disappear. I deleted the game again, and after a few days , downloaded it again. This time, the game was working perfectly until about level 21 or 22 and the identical problem happened again, however, thinking the problem had been fixed, I had paid for "hints" to get rid of the ads that appeared almost after every game. Yup, there was JACK again, with other bubbles layered on top, and it was terrible.
    So, I'm out the cost of the "hints" and the wish someone would please read the other reviewers and fix the problem.
    I would request my money back....I bought hints and just 30 minutes later and not many levels ahead, the stupid problem of JACK was there. YUK.

    This is a fun game that you can play in about 10 minute stretches before the novelty wears off – not that you will put it down forever, but that’s about my time limit for one sitting. After several days of play, it’s still fun and the words aren’t too challenging.

    If you do get the free version like I did, there are numerous – and highly annoying – popups asking you to purchase the full version in order to get rid of the popups (I haven’t felt compelled enough to purchase the ad-free version). Also, if you make the mistake like I did of connecting via Facebook in order to see which friends of yours also play in order to challenge, after each and every puzzle it wants to post on your behalf to your timeline to let your social media circle know you just completed another level.

    While it was fun while it lasted, the popup ads are too repetitive and annoying – ask me every 10th game vs. each and every one – that I have deleted it from my Kindle Fire.

    The game challenges the mind without having to become deeply emmersed in the game. It's easy to shut it down on the spot if you have something else you need to do. And it's easy to bring it back up to your last play level when you're ready to play again.

    You'll enjoy this game whether you have only a few minutes to play or if you have hours to see how far you can go. All it takes is basic spelling knowledge And a love for words.
