Product description

The ZDFtivi-app provides videos for children of several German public television programs (ZDFtivi and KiKA). Kids can watch their favorite television program on demand whenever they want. The app is free of charge and without any advertising and in app purchases.
It is therefore a safe and protected setting for kids.

TV app features
• A wide range of videos on demand from ZDFtivi and KiKA – classics, favorite shows, fairy tale movies and children’s films.
• Quick access to the ZDFchen content suited for ages 6 and younger.
• Accessability settings to automatically start videos with subtitles, audio descriptions or german sign language (if aplicable).

Tablet app features
• A wide range of videos on demand from ZDFtivi and KiKA – classics, favorite shows, fairy tale movies and children’s films.
• Save videos to watch them independently of network connection.
• Create individual profiles for every child without registration and login. You can easily switch between the profiles in the app.
• Set profiles for all content (ZDFtivi mode) or limit them to videos for ages 6 and younger (ZDFchen mode).
• Set app usage time, edit and delete profiles (multiple profiles can be created per device), and edit privacy settings.
• Find your Watchlist, continue watching and offline videos at “Mein ZDFtivi“ or „Mein ZDFchen“.
• Quick access to children’s news “logo!” (ZDFtivi mode only)
• Quick access to videos with available accessability features.
• Accessability settings to automatically start videos with subtitles, audio descriptions or german sign language (if aplicable).

• The app is free of charge and without any advertising or in app purchases.
• The app is safe and protected for kids, chats (optional) are moderated and comments only published by the ZDFtivi team.
• If you don't have a mobile contract with unlimited data usage, we recommend using the app with a WiFi connection.
