    Great replacement cable for the older model iPhones or iPods. My daughter shorted out my original cable for my iPod Nano and I couldn’t charge or sync it without holding the wire a certain way. This wire is hotter then the original but I like it that way it’s less wire to bend and mess up. Would purchase again.

      This cable length is great for an ipod in a car. I used to use the full length cable to connect to usb 2 inches away from where I store my ipod in my vehicle; now I just use this which makes things much tidier.

      Attempting to power an old iPod Classic, whose battery no longer charges, I found it wouldn't function right when connected to a USB base of the wrong amperage, via this cable. Ultimately, I needed to acquire a small external battery which produces the right number of amps, but it provides its own 30-pin connector to the iPod, so I expect I'll only be using this cable to connect it to my PC.

      These cables are awesome!! I’ve always thought longer cables are better, but not so. The cables are just the right length to plug my “old style” Apple devices (iPhone 4 & iPad) in to from a charging hub that I have. No more having to fight coiling up cables. My wife, likewise, has her devices that she charges up at night from her hub and she’s very happy to have the short cables. I’m going to have to order 4 more sets… one for the office, two more for each of our cars, and one more to throw in a suitcase when we travel! And the best part is that my Apple devices are perfectly happy using these charging cables, with no "error" messages!

      The reaction of my ipod (classic 160GB model) is different than when you plug it in on one of the original Apple chargers-- screen shows a different message, but it does seem to work so far as far as charging goes-- have not tried to sync with it.

      Please be aware of the size of the product. Plugged into my car's center console to charge, the ipod then must dangle awkwardly around my gearshift with nowhere to rest, because it just doesn't reach far enough to sit anywhere. This cable is so ridiculously short that you really can't use the ipod at all while it's charging because because there's just no leeway... if I lived in a dollhouse and drove a Barbie jeep it would be perfect.

      nach recht langem suchen habe ich mich für dieses kabel entschieden.

      es sollte zuverlässig das iphone und ipad mit strom versorgen - und das tut es auch.
      - keine fehlermeldung
      - kein wackler oder sonstiges

      es lohnt sich halt doch, nicht gleich das günstigste kabel zu kaufen.
      ausserdem ist es noch weit weg vom preis des originals.

      ich würde es wieder kaufen, hoffe aber, das ich erstmals ruhe habe.
      was die langlebigkleit betrifft - das wird sich noch zeigen.

      eine klare kaufempfehlung von mir :o)
