This spoon rest is designed to stay in place when in use and is able to do so through its non-slip weighted design. Combined these two components keep the spoon rest in place while on the countertop!

PURPOSE

Keep counter spaces mess-free with this spoon rest! Contents will collect in the wide ceramic head which is much easier to clean than the countertop! If you can't find use in the kitchen, you can also use in the bathroom or bedroom to hold jewelry or cotton pads!

CURVED HANDLE

The handle to this spoon rest is curved to easily grip in your hands while carrying to prevent loosing grip and breaking it. The curved design also helps hold the spoon in place to prevent utensils from slipping off of the rest by giving the handle a place to sit.

These are very nice, large rests. I really liked them, but unfortunately, I couldn't use them. They came chipped and cracked. I've contacted Amazon for a refund so that I can repurchase. Unfortunately, I couldn't repurchase them because they no longer had the black ones that I originally ordered.

    It's exactly what I was looking for. It's wide so it can easily fit wooden spoons, ladels, and other cooking utensils. Yes it's too big for a small metal spoon, but that's not what I was after.

    It's sturdy, it does the job, if I use it sideways I can rest up to two cooking utensils on it instead of just one. It's ceramic. Came in one piece. Cleans up really easily (but I don't put it in the dishwasher, it comes clean easily enough with a handwashing).

    Exactly what I wanted, and it matches my new butter dish.

So I sent it back thinking it was just that one. But the second one I received. was the same way, so I thought maybe it was done on purpose where it sits on the counter. Anyway, it looks good with the rest of my black accent accessories and it's sturdy. For my own desire, I touched up the small "bald" spot with a black sharpie.

    I didn't look at the dimensions of this spoon rest, I just THOUGHT I knew what size it was because it was shaped like another I'd had in the past. DO check the measurements before you buy it. It's actually the size of cooking spoons. it works just fine but so do the smaller ones. I just thought some people might not want the large size of this, so thought I'd mention it.

    This item is much larger than our previous, which got dropped and broke. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much we prefer the larger size though.
