      I love that you don't have to sharpen the carpenter pencil. The lead is very strong and can hold up to an Autistic student's need to press lead hard to paper. Whereas normal pencils and other carpenter pencils break on contact with student.

      These are pencils, I use them when I am cutting lumber. They work really well for writing on wood, but they don’t work well for cutting. I use a saw for that part, after I wore out several pencils. So, make sure you have a saw, and these will work great for the writing part!

      What can you say about a pencil? They're pencils. What can you say about the sharpener? What are they thinking. Finally figuring out how to get the pencil in the sharpener, and then figuring out how it works, and then noticing it gives a round end along with cracking the lead every time... comes back to the question, what are they thinking? So if you throw away the sharpener and use your knife to sharpen them like we've done for a thousand years... good pencils.
