- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2021I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. This book explained things that I could understand. In fact I read the book under Kindle Unlimited and then bought it for my library.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2021If you know nothing about your kidneys and where to start changing your eating habits this is a good book for you. I see the kidneys as vital as the heart and the relationship the kidneys has with all other functions in the body is astounding. No matter what stage you're in with CKD be mindful of taking care of your kidneys. Do your own research and find out what is good for you personally.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2016Its a very good book. Author gets to the point about what needs to be done. The only problem I have is it seems she starts a topic but never goes deep into it.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2015Excellent road map for someone who just discovered a diagnosis of CKD. It is very confusing when trying to change one's diet not being aware of what to eat and what to avoid. This book has suggestions that I found to be very helpful.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2017Very informative and helpful. These are things that every chronic kidney disease patient should know. It is vital to managing the disease and it even gives helpful info on other disorders that may accompany (CKD).
- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2015This is a must read for patients and their caregivers. It gives a solid education about kidney disease, what the blood work means, and how foods play a role. The writing style is easy to understand and, pardon the pun, digest. I read it before the next appointment with the Doctor and it generated some questions specific to my care. I bought the cookbook written by the same author!
