    I recently became aware of Amazon's Fire TV, so I am just getting started on trying out a few apps. I like this weather app for few reasons. Nice interface that is easy and straightforward to navigate, recent weather videos are laid out along the bottom of the screen, and the image quality is crisp. I have not had buffering issues yet (when an app pauses or freezes because it's trying to load/stream onto the screen). With that said, I do have an above basic internet speed. I'm excited to see how this app handles tropical storms in my area, Miami. I do not have experience with other weather apps, so I cannot make any comparisons.

    I like watching the weather channel because I can track a storm through you and learn about weather patterns. I also like to see what is happening at the time. I was a bit disappointed in the exaggeration of the coverage incident with mike sided however I do know there was strong winds where he was standing given how his clothes were blowing. There is no need to pretend it is stronger than it really is. People are scared enough. I will continue to watch TWC however. As a former Florida resident I’ve come to know the Mikes, Stephanie, Reynolds and Jim.......

    Just getting the feel of this app. It's a free app so hopefully it won't "view' personal data or things that apps in the PhoneWorld seem to do from time-to-time. It is a simple weather app with two types of weather maps that also appears to have a traffic map, too. You can add multiple locations by searching for/adding in other cities, and switching to the alternate location brings up that weather/traffic info.

    The only odd thing is that the "time" is set to Four Hours In The Future. But other than that, gives basic info. Can't beat that.

    I like the ease of adding multiple cities you wish to monitor, and the maps with current weather, radar and traffic is great. Interesting though, this version for FireTV is functionally different than the version for Vizio. This one is better! Except the one for Vizio lets the current program you are watching run, and the weather is in a pop up window.

    What I like about this app is you can add as many cities as you want. If you go left to the pull out menu, then to "maps" you get radar and traffic. In the traffic map you can use it like google maps all over the country. Handy.
