It's a little tricky at first, but as others said have patience. Calibration takes some time. For any other new purchasers, there will be a thin red progress bar at the bottom of the static screen. As it fills, it becomes yellow and then green. The bar will be almost the width of the static screen when done. The whole process takes almost 10 minutes. If you hear anything, a list is kept "behind" the static screen. Just tap it to show the list.

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) is the collective name for the sounds sometimes detected on electronic recordings and reminiscent of human speech. These sounds are usually found in recordings with noise or poor radio reception, and is considered by many to be the voices of paranormal beings such as ghosts, spirits, demons and other energy based entities. EVP is a form of Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC), a term coined by professor Ernst Senkowski in the 1970s.
This app has taken the traditional ghost box to the next level, and also incorporates an EMF (Electromagnetic Field) scanner. * Patience required; Don't expect amazing results after just a couple of minutes! The analyzer needs time to calibrate, and may initially not detect any patterns at all or may even give you false positives.
* When fully calibrated the speech to text translation and speech quality should be improved.
* The EMF scanner use the magnetometer sensor of your device so ensure it is calibrated (by waving the device in a eight pattern a couple of times).

Nice App with lots of features!
I purchased my app through google play store, but wanted to review the app on several sites.First off let me start out by saying that you will not be able to understand the voice coming through when you start the app right away. It takes time to calibrate. My phone takes 10 minutes to calibrate fully. Older phones may take a little bit more time. Depends on your device. Until it's calibrated it will not record any sounds in the word log. So I start the app and then silence the app until it is calibrated fully most of the time.Review of the app itself. Does it work? Well I have gotten a couple of responses that were a little uncanny.First photo is where I had started the software as I was leaving to go home from work. It's a 10 minute ride. So that gave the time for the app to calibrate. I left the sound on that time. I go and pull in the driveway and after I push the remote for the garage and the door starts opening, I get a voice that says "welcome." I've circled where it says welcome so you can see it's not made up.Second photo shows a time when I was getting ready for work at home. The phone was fully calibrated and I was listening. A spirit was talking. It first said performer. I asked what kind of performer. They said "pro." the words that were said after go along with what the spirit was talking about. I asked who was speaking, and it replied with a name "Charles."The third picture that I have listed as an example. If you read from 8:04 - 8:08. I had an entity come forth, and speak. "No", "his family" "harm" "album". At that point I came to the phone and saw what was in the list of words and asked "What Family?" and it came back as "Thick" as the name of the family. And I asked Who it was, and it said "Senior", and then I said "grandfather?" and it replied "Dad" and that's when it left. Now I know personally who this spirit was and what family he was referencing. I had other people look at those words and ask what they thought and what came to mind when they saw those words. All of us thought of the same person, and family. So I feel this was real. What do you get out of those words?Do I get words that don't make sense sometimes yes. But a lot of mine if you look at all the words that come through, most of them go together and make some sense. Does this app really do what it says. I think it does somewhat. It just depends on how you use it, and where. I have had friends get intelligent responses, and had two phones on at the time. One was an apple phone and one was an android phone. They both got the same responses at the same time . I saw their logs and they match up. So that can not just be coincidence.
