If you follow the directions and stir until dissolved prepare to never ever stop as this does not dissolve. It will remain as a powder suspended in water. The taste isn't fantastic, but it is edible. I do not have a hand mixer so not sure how well it would mix if you had something like that, but by hand it will never dissolve. As seen in the picture this is what was left in the mug after mixing it as thoroughly as possible in hot water before drinking it.I accidentally did a slightly larger than called for amount of water the first time. I do not recommend that. Use only the recommended amount of water. I haven't tried mixing it with milk so not sure if that would be better or not.
