Product Description
Johnny Worricker (Bill Nighy) is hiding out from his work at MI5 on the island paradise Turks & Caicos. Trouble comes knocking when a CIA agent (Christopher Walken) introduces him to some dubious American businessmen. When one of them turns up dead, it's their financial PR (Winona Ryder) who seems to know more than she's letting on. As evidence linking the men to the prime minister comes to light, Worricker must act quickly if he is to survive.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2014Third in the trilogy of Johnny Worricker (Page Nine and Turks and Caicos were the first and second ones). These stories are GREAT. Great writing, fantastic acting, and the settings are really wonderful! The heading on Amazon says "Ralph Fiennes" on it as though he is a star - he's only the Prime Minister. The Star and the story line is about Bill Nighy's character who has scruples, values and works as a analyst for the MI5. Also appearing is the wonderful Helena Bonham Carter. Watch all three one right after the other. You cannot go wrong!.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2020My order was delivered quickly and it was what I expected. I was concerned because there was some confusion as many offerings of this title are in the European, p a l, format. Although the DVD was labeled UK addition it was in the correct format.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2021This is a great series. Very interesting and great story line. Bill Nighy is always good and this is worth buying
- Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2015Guess I was disappointed in how the series ended. Didn't make sense on why he did what he did.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2015This British series follows how a civil servant (mi v officer) challenges the highest powers of government and its consequences. Great plot , wonderfully entertaining wkth a spectacular cast and a bit scary. In Parts 2 and 3 of this trilogy we watch the protagonist run and hide ,get caught and make the necessary comprises to survive.
You ask yourself was all this worth it considering the outcome
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2015Loved it. Was hoping for more of this actor and story line since buying "Page 8".
Loved it and have purchased it for others. Was hoping, after seeing "Page 8", there would be more with this actor with the same story theme. Could not recommend it higher. Have given it to several others.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2014This was an incredibly well-written and well-acted spy drama. It was very remeniscent of the George Smiley dramas of the '90's, with the over-lay of the British political and bureaucratic web constantly playing into its resolution. While there was no Alec Guiness, it was very very close.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2015I liked this spy movie. I like the acting and the story line. It was a British style series and I like it because it was different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding value - excellent performances - fine production.
This is the final installment of the Johnny Worricker Spy trilogy which began with “Page 8”, followed by “Turks and Caicos”, both of which were outstanding. Sadly this final episode doesn't quite live up to the standard of the first two but it is still an excellent production and well worth the money.
Johnny Worricker (Bill Nighy) and Margot Tyrrell (Helena Bonham Carter), are enmeshed in a political drama involving abuse of state power and high level corruption. They barely manage to stay one step ahead of MI5, which is pursuing them across Europe, but with the money running out, and MI5 closing in, Worricker has to return home to confront the corrupt British Prime Minister, Alec Beasley (Ralph Fiennes).
There’s a final showdown and the ending ultimately brings us back full circle - which made me wonder if there will be another Johnny Worricker production one of these days.
The casting is brilliant, the performances are excellent, and the entire series was a joy to watch from start to finish – Bill Nighy can do no wrong.
Well worth the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent spy film
In my estimation, along with the two other films in the series, this represents perhaps the finest spy story I've ever seen.
