ABOUT TIM HOLTZ: THE CRAFTER, THE ARTIST, THE DESIGNER.

Tim Holtz has been a maker for most of his life. He enjoys the process of crafting things by hand and the development of innovative products. His love for eclectic, vintage things has inspired a career. He currently designs for various companies in the industry, including Advantus Corp's idea-ology line of papers, embellishments, and tools & the Assemblage line of vintage DIY jewelry, Ranger Ink's Distress & Alcohol Inks, Stampers Anonymous' line of stamps, Sizzix's die-cuts, Tonic Studios' tools, and Free Spirit's Eclectic Elements fabrics.

    Cute stuff (for the most part) but packet was split on the side.
    I love most of the individual pieces in the pack. I expected it to be more vintage-y I guess but that’s on me as I didn’t realize that Tim Holtz is a craft supplier. But what has prompted me to give this pack only three stars is that it came in a rather flimsy cellophane packet that had split open. Some of the contents are really really small so they were spread over the box in which amazon sent me. Since they came with other stuff, I found the smallest ephemera stuck in the space between the amazon box and the masking tape that held the box up.

      I am a huge Tim Holtz fan and have used his products for many, many years. His ephemera packs are a dream, especially when you don't have any real authentic vintage ephemera on hand. The thrift shop pack wasn't available at my local craft store so I'm glad I found it here. Yes, Tim Holtz items are pricey. However, I'm willing to pay for something so gorgeous with superb printing and quality. These will be perfect for my journaling.

      These are made of a thin cardstock like paper. I assume they are meant for scrapbooking or card making. I am using them for art. All of the pieces are vintage inspired and range from old photos, and stamps to small novelty signs. They are small. Some very small about half an inch and the largest a few inches. But nothing over 6 inches. I would buy them again they are a great value over craft stores but if your looking for them to be large they are not and have duplicates but I don't mind either.

Now that I'm familiar with Tim Holz, I will know more what to expect as far as color and look. I can think of 100 uses for these. If you like crafting purchase them. You'll find something to use them for.

      These are too cute. I love the many different designs this pack has to offer. I love Tim Holtz Idealology designs. Always has the best products for steampunk. I looked in our brand name store and some of the prices are actually higher than here on Amazon. Plus with the free Prime Shipping, really helps. I don't have to leave my home.
      The pack appears to be a good quality product. Interesting designs to use. Can't wait to incorporate them into my steampunk projects.

      Tim Holtz has created an awesome collection of reprinted ephemera for use in paper projects. There is a however a fatal flaw too often in the delivery of these tiny pieces of paper. The plastic bag they come in will split and spill all these wee pieces into the shipping packaging, with some falling out in transit. The tiniest of them can even escape through the hole meant for hanging the package on a store shelf.
      All this having been said, the world is a big bad place and a few escaped minutia will not change your life for the worse. If it is important to you to get every scrap you paid for then expect to be shorted in every few shipments of these Tim Holtz ephemera packs.
      The product is delightful and inspires creative thinking as you look at a piece and figure out how you're going to use it in your project.

      I love the bits and pieces of nostalgia that were in every package of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Ephemera Packs that I have purchased. Such a great addition to my mixed media paintings! I have even gotten some for my daughter who creates gorgeous junk journals. Having 54 pieces in each package is great! The whole Idea-ology series is well worth the money and I am still creating with them. I highly recommend these packages to anyone who wants to add some interest, vintage or themed pieces to any artistic creation.

      I got these for mixed media art journaling and immediately fell in love with all the fun pieces. I received all of the items that are in the photograph so I'm not sure why other people said they didn't. But these are one sided, printed on card stock, and are perfect for your art journals or scrap booking. They can be applied with glue or gesso and painted over without piling up. If you're looking to add a little bit of nostalgia to your piece I would highly recommend these. I got them as a $3 add on so you can't beat the price!
