Man what a dream game. As a medic and EM coder this keeps skills sharp while teaching you something. The problem for me right now is finding the time to play as you intend then finding you have to play more.

I found this app about 4 days before my PALS testing. I was impressed with the detailed questions and explanations for the correct answers. I wish I had found it earlier in my studies. I would recommend for anyone studying for PALS certification. I used only the free portion. There is apparently something enhanced for purchase, but it was great as the free one.

it lead you to believe you could use it. However, it would only let you do one question and then want you to buy program. It's either free or not, so it should not be advertized as free if it isn't.

ANYONE who has to take PALS and ACLS knows the anguish of the MEGACODE! This year I got apps to practice and what a huge difference it makes. The study questions prepare you for the written test with lots of practice. the multiple practice megacodes really made the difference when it came time to run my REAL megacode. The panic wasn't there. The practice codes when done over and over to perfection allowed for perfection with the shock, respiratory and cardiac diagnosis. Drugs therapy and rhythms became second nature. There was a small glitch with the app however. If it was a multiple choice answer, the submit button had to be pressed twice to get it to convert to a green check. This is why the 4 stars
