So normally, since I had an iPhone 4, I bought the glass zagg screen protector. I had the 4, 4s and now the 5 and I had the zagg glass which always after maybe 2 drops would chip and crack. The screen protector did its job and protected the screen, and Zagg's lifetime warranty is great and they always follow through. But I decided to get the HDX on a hunch that it may be better than glass. I must say I'm impressed, the feel of it is smooth(some people say it feels rubbery, I only felt that for maybe a minute then it went away). Easy application(like all of their products) make application easy and no air bubbles. As I was reading this, I laughed at self-healing, thinking that was a load of crap. However, as I was cleaning the screen two very big circles were scratched onto the screen and I thought, "crap this is a new screen and I scratched it within a minute of putting it on." About twenty minutes later I check the screen and the scratch wasn't even there. So I guess I owe zagg an apology for doubting their claim that it self heal because it actually does. Besides my rambling, this is a great case I haven't dropped it yet so I cannot comment on that, if I do I will update. But from what I have seen and my past experience with zagg this screen protector is a 10/10, 5/5 what ever scale u want to use. If you want to protect ur screen use zagg. Zagg or die...

I am extremely confident that this is the strongest, most aesthetic-retaining screen cover material made! After applying the screen, any small bubbles dissipate. After testing the materials ability to return to its original flatness after pressing on it with my fingernail, I was satisfied that I could test its military specifications and started throwing my keys in my phone pocket with reckless abandon. It being my first flexible screen protector, I was mildly impressed that it had no marks. I've since seen the how lesser screen protectors cloud over with a zig-zag of countless scrapes and scratches. I began happily letting this rugged monster do its job by treating my phone as if it wasn't there, stuffing tools in my pocket while doing housework, tempting them to not only try to damage the iphone screen, but leave permanent and unsightly marks; I was not a little bit appalled at how little I had started to care when I pulled out a pair of diagonal cutter (dikes) from my pocket and actually noticed a decent scratch across the screen cover. I thought, 'Well, I've certainly done it! It must be a permanent scratch on the surface that will always be obstructing my view!' -the next day it had just disappeared into a wavy dimple. While I don't recommend testing the adhesive, just today I was able to take the screen that had peeled off my wife's phone -which she subsequently left at my in-laws and they mailed to us placed neatly next to some cardboard (it doesn't feel too sticky after that)- by using the washing with soapy water on fingers technique illustrated by this very helpful youtuber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZowi1hJ-A4 I recommend applying the cover in a steamed up bathroom and using a pin to pull out any stray dust particles that are trapped underneath. Look for the dimples on the picture with the orange case. Seriously: I regularly put keys in my phone pocket and don't give it a second thought -a phone should just be another tool.
