When I first started the app on my Samsung Tab 4 8 inch tablet it would not start and I was asked to download the app again. The tablet reported and unknown error and to please try to download the app again. This is only the second app that has done this out of 1500. I am not happy that I cannot play this app on my Samsung tablet. I installed it three times and it failed 3 times. The tablet told me that the app was successfully installed but it failed instantly on every start up with the error message.

I then installed the app on my Kindle Fire HD and it worked perfectly. The home page includes Facebook and twitter. You can play the app using gestures or the joystick control mode. The gesture mode worked very well for me. The game contains 5 chapters and one titled coming soon.

This game is a classic run, slash and fight game and the controls are very good. The game action is intense and the graphics are beautiful. It has good background music and the SFx sounds are well done. I rate this app a 5 star app but I hope they get the problem with the Samsung tablet fixed.

The app contains the code for Chartboost adware. It appears so far to be inactive. It also contains PayPhone which is a social networking code but also a billing solution to monetize an app. Facebook code is also integrated into the app but you will have to allow it access to your account by login in if you want to. A second scanning software uncovered Google Play Inapp billing in the app. During the game play I saw no ads or was I asked to make and purchases.

The app installed 155MB on my tablet with 139MB going to the SD card and 15.39 going to my device memory. It installed this way automatically.

Tried 4 times, all 4 failed and then I gave up.
"Package Access Helper" dies as the install is going on. No idea what it is or why it's happening.
    Other apps install just fine.

Played on a Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.1 and using a Moga Pro controller. The Moga Pro really makes the game even better to play.
I've owned this game since March 2014 from the Google Play Store and Cresent Moon Games did a really great job making it.
Good graphics, soundtrack and FX along with a lot of good solid game play.
If you own a Moga Pro or Moga Pro Power controller I highly recommend this game!

Now for the installation fix for Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.1 Lollipop.
The problem is with the Amazon App Store App not stopping the event handler from allowing the installation from installing to the SD card automatically. Lollipop 5.0.1 has a bug in it and Google hasn't fixed it as of yet, but the Google Play Store has edited their app to accommodate the bug. So until Amazon counters the Google Lollipop Bug here's the fix for all the apps that won't install on your Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.1 Lollipop.

Goto Settings, General, Storage then select Unmount SD card. After that install the app. Then go back to Settings, General, Storage then select Mount SD card.
That's all there is to it, enjoy games now that wouldn't install before on your Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.1 Lollipop here on the Amazon App Store...

Shadow Blade is another run-and-slash type of game, similar to League of Evil, that tests your reflexes & offers mindless fun. What makes one of such games preferable over another, I would think, is in their controls & the graphics. I tried both the swipe & (on-screen) joystick controls, and found them responsive enough, although the swipe controls might take a little getting used to. As for graphics, well, they look very nice (for my money certainly better than the pixelated 8-bit graphics of League of Evil!), and the ambiance do make you feel you're a ninja on a mission.

It contains two components which I'd rather avoid: Chartboost & PlayPhone, but neither seems to be active. Chartboost in particular appears to have been disabled. Even though the game asks for the Internet permission, it never used it (I of course did not bother to click the Facebook & Twitter icons), and runs just fine offline. It also exits cleanly.

This game gets a 4.5 from me.

Shadow Blade has great graphics, sound, control, and gameplay. The platforming and combat are fun, varied, and challenging. Unfortunately, the game sold by Amazon is incomplete, as shown by the 'coming soon' banner in the area select screen. Shadow Blade in the Play Store has had the final batch of levels for a while, and there's a free version too. That's certainly preferable to paying for a game that's incomplete due to neglect.

The game mechanics and play of this game reminds me of another I played years ago on the original Nintendo Entertainment System. (NES) there was a game called Ninja Gaiden. In fact it was a series. More recently there were newer 3D Versions made for the XBOX and Playstation Consules. However the game play and feel of this game is very much identical to the original games on the NES bit with better graphics that could not be achieved during that time period. I remember the Ninja Gaiden series had some of the best graphics for the Nintendo system at the time. This is a great game that offers throwback nostalgia to someone like me. Great graphics and gameplay just like the classic series I remember.
