    I hesitated for the longest to get this app because of the bad reviews. I've played the board game for years and love it, so i thought I'd risk it. Good thing i did, because it's awesome! It's exactly as the board game version. Works as a two player game online! Works on my newer kindle fire and on iPad.

    Two things to note:
    - I changed the orientation of the tiles from 3D table view to just "flat". The fancy viewer is confusing and not well done, tiles look different, etc. The flat view straight down uses the same tiles as in the board version, and is very straight forward.
    - When you start a game there's a glitch that will make everything happen twice. After i buy the first tile i leave the game, and go back in, and the glitch is gone.

    There are currently 2 other reviews, both 1 star. Both state that the game keeps crashing half-way through a game.

    I have a Kindle Fire HD, 8.9". There have been a couple of occasions where I have had the same problem that the other reviews expressed, where half-way through a game, the game simply closes. However, from reading those reviews, one would get the impression that you cannot even finish a game and that is simply not the case. I have played quite a few games and have only had a couple that were left unfinished due to the closing problem.

    Having said that, the closing really isn't excusable. The same publisher also put out Kingdom Builder at about the same time with similar closing issues. I experience the problem more often on that than on this, but it was updated and the problem seems to be occurring far less often now, indicating to me that the developers are still working out certain kinks and will address them as they find them. If it frustrates you to pay to be part of a beta test, then perhaps give it a while.

    On the other hand, if you are familiar with Alhambra and enjoy it, or if you are a big fan of board games, I would recommend this one. It is not what I would refer to as a "starter game". The rules aren't convoluted (and the tutorial is good), but this game is more complicated than say "Ticket to Ride" or even the aforementioned "Kingdom Builder".

    The one thing that I would love to see is the ability to add the expansions. Start working on those and I would give 5-stars. I don't care so much for online play, but I could see a demand for that as well. Pass-and-play is here and is great, but be aware that there is "hidden" information that is trickier to do pass-and-play.

    One last comment - I typically add multiple opponents, not just 2-player. When playing 2-player, the rules of the game involve a third "dummy" player. I'm personally not a fan, which is why I add multiple opponents, but it is possible that many of the closing glitches are centered around the 2-player, which could be why other reviewers have had a more frustrating experience than I.

    Very good game, I never played the board game so I cant tell you how close it is, but the gameplay is very good. The game hasn't crashed once on my Kindle Fire. The A.I. is pretty challenging, I have yet to win, came close once. I highly recommend this game.

    I have yet to play a complete game. The app keeps just stop working after a few moves. The money cards are not displaying correctly, sometimes not displaying at all, sometimes turning to the gray side and are not accessible. Love the graphics and would so much like to play it. Hope they will improve.

    The Google play store has a newer version that fixes significant issues. Amazon is too self centered to provide that necessary update. On my LG G3 this Amazon version is unplayable as the UI elements are miniscule (things like buttons too small to touch with a micro point stylus). That issue is corrected in the current version of the app on Google.

    Je ne peux pas dire si Alhambra est un bon jeu ou pas, l'affichage des menus sur mon Note 4 est complètement décalé. Impossible d'appuyer sur le premier bouton OK du tutoriel par exemple.

    In der Tat der totale Reinfall da auf zb meinem Samsung Tab3 nicht einmal das Spielende erreicht werden konnte.
    Immer wird es vorher abgebrochen. . ohne das ein Spielstand wenigstens gespeichert wäre.
    Dies immerhin bekommen andere Spielhersteller in so einem Fall noch hin.....geht gar nicht und ist Betrug, da man kein spielbares Spiel bekommt für bezahltes Geld. Im Laden würde man so etwas zurücknehmen müssen, da es nicht funktioniert.

    Non valuto il gioco bensì questa versione digitale, sul kindle fire hd 7 il gioco rallenta con la grafica 3d, scegliendo invece la grafica piatta il gioco scorre fluido. La grafica di alcune tessere risulta non nitida (non si riesce a capire il costo), manca il riepilogo dei punteggi per ogni fase di gioco, come faccio a valutare le mosse se non so quanti punti prenderò io e i miei avversari?
    Insomma spero venga migliorata, inoltre mi piacerebbe vedere qualche espansione

    Aggiornamento 16/1//2016 SINGLE PLAYER: sul kindle fire HD 1 gen. ora il gioco funziona benissimo anche in 3d. , E' stato aggiunta la tabella dei punteggi per le fasi di gioco e se si clicca sulle tessere del mercato queste si ingrandiscono permettendo di visionarle al meglio. Ora mancano soltanto le espansioni. Ottima app per un ottimo gioco. Complimenti agli sviluppatori. CONSIGLIATO
