circaid Skin Contact Undersleeves and Undersocks are designed for added comfort and protection. They come in various options, including extra wide versions, arm sleeves, lower leg sleeves, full leg sleeves, and undersocks with a closed toe. The open-ended undersleeves allow for normal footwear use and help prevent chaffing and irritation. These products are easy to wash and maintain, providing extra comfort for sensitive areas. They are also helpful if you expect exudate or weeping beyond a dressing. Select undersleeves and undersocks are available with silver for added odor control on your skin. Note that undersleeves and undersocks do not provide therapeutic compression.

Washing instructions: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.

    These are pretty easy to get on and off and offer medium support (I'm guessing 10 mm HG or about half as strong as a new OTC support sock which are about 20mm HG). These can be worn under a support sock or regular sock as they are pretty thin. I have found them to be comfortable to be worn for 16 hrs a day and I take them off when sleeping. They are a very nice product though a tad expensive.

    The compression stockings were a little easier going on than most but if I had the next larger size that might have made a difference.
    I have larger calves so after awhile the bands started to roll down causing them to be much too tight and left deep impressions on my legs.

    When you suffer Lymphedema and your ankles swell to painful proportions it can literally reduce a person to tears. I have tried at least 10+ different types of compression socks and they are either too tight, too small, too loose and so on. After wasting a fortune to get relief I purchased a couple of pairs of these compression socks and have finally gotten relief to the pain and swelling. Don't be shocked when you take them out of the package. They look like golf club covers that wouldn't cover your hand let alone a foot and ankle swollen 3-4 times their normal size. The socks actually go on quite easily. I bought the "Large" and had no trouble putting them on and getting them up over the ankle. After wearing them all day I had no pain from the socks and they didn't cut into my ankles like all the others have where the top band of the sock is. The "mild" compression worked perfectly for me. After 2-3 days my ankles were back to normal size and now I wear these socks to control the Lymphedema. The pain is gone along with the swelling and these cost me less than all the acetaminophen I was taking which is also another benefit to my health. Toss them in the washer using cold water and they dry quickly on the line. I wouldn't risk putting them in the dryer. Again it's a shame only 5 stars are allowed.
