Product description
123 Tracing is an action-packed app that teaches kids numbers with engaging game that keeps them glued to the screen. Your little learners will have tons of fun learning their numbers in the interactive app loved by kids and parents alike.
This math game teaches fundamental math concepts critical for preschoolers: identifying numbers; one-to-one number correspondence; reading number symbols; associating symbols with quantity etc. Appropriate hints are provided to support your child as they practice and build their math skills. Not only can they discover numbers through initial independent play, you can also play collaboratively with your child.
Why you'll love it:
* Active learning: children learn by "doing," completing a fun activity for every number. * Strong educational content: playtime turns into productive learning, keeping children occupied while teaching them the numbers they need for math.
123 Tracing with its unique graphical styling, beautiful music, and interactivity is designed to engage, entertain, and educate your kids.

I've tested the app on my own as my daughter is too small for learning numbers, although she was very interested in the nice colors and music. he features of this app are excellent for kids when learning numbers as it's easy to navigate, it's got audio features and frequent repetition which helps kids to enjoy the learning process. The app makes the learning process fun, just like a game. For the kids enjoying a challenge and are competitive, the app offers a way to track their progress which is great to stimulate kids to practice more. Interactivity and the music are additional bonuses. When the time comes I'm sure my 2 years old daughter will enjoy the app as much as I do.
The free version is just numbers 1 to 5. You have to buy the full game. This is a pre school and pre k app. Very nice game play for the little one and easy to use for pre school and pre k. I give it only 3 stars because the free version is so short compared to other free apps.
The free version only offers numbers 1-3 before you are prompted to buy the full version (at a very reasonable price) to access more numbers/features. This is a great app for young children 2-4, perhaps in Pre-K if you are interested in jump starting their number writing. I found it helpful for my six year old in Kindergarten who is having a little difficulty writing his numbers in the correct direction. The colors and sound are eye-catching and probably even more so for a young child. Offering the "reward" of cathcing the fireflies is cute since we know that reward is always interesting and fun for a young child. I also like that there is a parent mode so you can keep track of progress. At the end of the day, the free app isn't much but gives you a limited idea as to what you can expect if you are willing to pay the small price for the full version. I think Kids Academy did well with this one. The only reason I give four stars and not five is because I think the free app offer just a bit more.
The free version only gives you numbers 1-3. When we got to three my daughter wanted to keep going, so I bought the "full version" for $1.99, which gives you numbers 1-10. The program is really sensitive, and won't "accept" the child's tracing of the number if their finger skips, which is frustrating for my daughter. It also only lets her start at 1 and go through #10; it would be nice if the program had the option to choose the number, or to run from 1-10. It is a fairly irritating game to listen to as a parent, too, because the only feedback or talking the game does is to alternate between saying "excellent!" and "you rock!" when the number is done correctly, and between "it's easy...let's try again" and "oops, one more time" if it isn't completed correctly (or if their finger skips). I thought maybe there would be more to the game, especially since it cost $1.99. I think for the level of functionality, the full version should be free.
Great app for getting kids excited about tracing numbers. It has beautiful graphics, has the tracing done in sections to make it easier on the little ones, allows for creation of profiles and parent's options and uses an incentive system (collecting fireflies) to keep them excited about using the app. This free version allows you to try numbers 1-3, but it's a great way of testing the app before deciding whether to buy the full version. Nicely designed and fun to use.
My daughter enjoys this app so much, It is so much fun to see the numbers light up when you trace them the correct way and collect all of the fun fireflies in the jar. There is an automated voice that gives you instructions in case you get stuck. There is even a place where your child can make their own profile. Parents can see how far their child is progressing and what areas your child may need to work on. I highly recommend it. My child has special needs and it works wonders for her. She actually enjoys the learning aspect now.
this version only goes to #4..... now my child wants an app that i have to pay for.... please change the name to "lite free" not just free, so users know there are not only ads but also just a small sample of the app!
Not the best 'free' app. After taking an agent install my child was only able to trace the numbers 1 - 3 or watch the letters A - C (and these were given the alphabet sounds, not phonics). After that you are asked to pay. This is not a free app. It's a very short free taster of an app you have to buy. I uninstalled it.
