    It's no secret that kids love ice cream, and they will surely love Ice Cream Truck Adventure! This app holds up to the usual fantastic quality of 22Learn apps, and it is designed with educational value in mind. I use 22Learn apps with my students who usually enjoy playing and learning with them. Ice Cream Truck Adventure contains plenty to do, and the professional voice acting and illustrations are sweet icing on this ice cream cake!

    From the homescreen, users can explore the ice cream truck. Clicking parts on the truck activates lights, sounds, and animations. Users can open doors, extend the sunshade, or even hear the mascot duck on the front quack. A friendly voice says the names of the parts and what is happening with them out loud. This activity is great for learning about parts of the truck and vehicles in general. A help feature is available and highlights all the clickable parts, making them easy to find.

    Three additional activities are provided as well- Driving, Cupcake Maker, and Flying Ice Cream. The driving activity accesses rear-view cameras on your device, allowing your little one to take ice cream truck adventures around your house or wherever you happen to be. Users can toggle animations and sounds using the dashboard. Power on the radio, use the windshield wipers, activate headlights, turn the ignition, honk the horn, and enjoy driving. It's a fun little activity, and the use of your device's camera is a neat touch.

    In cupcake maker, a cupcake is displayed and the user has to select parts to create a cupcake that matches. After creating the cupcake, users ring up the price on a register and collect the number of coins displayed. Users then collect a receipt and can 'eat' the cupcake by clicking it. Don't forget to recycle the cup by putting it in the bin! Super cute little game that includes a bit of counting as well. Ice cream fling simply has you select a flavor of ice cream and slingshot it at the customer- a cute, ice cream-loving animal. This activity is very fun, but sometimes it says 'not the right flavor' when u drop the ice cream. It doesn't take away much from the game, but may be confusing to some very young players.

    This app holds tremendous value for all the activities you get. Kids can enjoy hours of fun driving around with the ice cream truck camera mode and then settle down to make and serve ice cream and cupcakes. It'll definitely leave your little ones satisfied and having fun.

    Wow. I'm not sure how this kid's game got so many 5 stars with the unusual permission for the camera. It set off a warning on 'Permission Dog' each time I opened it. "Allows the app to view what the camera is seeing." Creepy! Why do the devs want to look at the child? (???) Put tape over the camera maybe? Also, app would not open unless first connected to the net, so it could load an ad. Also not good for babies. Even if you have parental controls to prevent purchases, this is a paid app... I really want a refund, I can't let my kid play this.

    So my 4yr old really likes this game. I totally think it's lame, but the designers must know what 4yr olds like. Now my problem is that the music is annoying. And I LIKE the typical music of an ice-cream truck, it brings back lots of pleasant childhood memories. But this music is just plain aggravating. I like my kids to play games with music I like so I can enjoy something too. Is this too much to ask?
    As for the actual game, there is a picture of a truck - they can touch different parts to hear different sounds - a few little movements. Then there is a driving game, where you drive down the street and again you can honk or put on the wiper blades, and lights, but you don't actually drive the truck at all. My son likes this - no chance for failure I guess, we all need some easy ones sometimes.
    I don't like giving my 4yr old headphones for many reasons including hearing loss and the fact that he can do in-app purchases (overriding my blocks) without me noticing ( because of hearing the music change).

    This is a great app with lots of imagination and can be enjoyed by either boy or girl. My grandson is 5 but he is disabled and just loves to drive ANYTHING that looks like - sounds like - or acts like a vehicle. I have only good things to say about the games and the things that can keep any child entertained (under their own power) for hours. The colors are bright and true and the graphic are lifelike and even in the games the animals are cute. Only one thing would make it better - CREATORS, can you make the road move in the direction that the wheel is turned?? Make it more like really driving down the road. Even so, your child will really enjoy this adventure. I very much like all the prior apps I have gotten from this company.
