This glue is no joke. Do NOT let it fall into the wrong hands!!!
I use this all the time in my line of work (appliance repair). It is water resistant and can withstand very high temperatures. It's also super strong. DON'T GET IT ON YOUR HANDS.This is a seriously persistent glue, not that sissy stuff you had in kindergarten. It's also very tough and if you puncture the package or don't cap it right, it will expand and leak and your toolbox will have thick "plastic" that's too tough to take off of your tools. Yeah. It's that strong.Read and take seriously the warnings that come with it. Store it at reasonable temperatures, buy inside a ziploc bag (SEALED).

Its glue... not much to get excited over. I used it as part of a repair I was making to my LG dryer. I had the whole thing apart to replace the heating element module so I figured I'd perform some other maintenance as well. I used this glue to adhere the new felt dryer drum gaskets around both sides of the drum. Seems to have worked with no issue, but I strongly suggest you watch a few youtube videos on that procedure before you use this product. Because I did, I know without a doubt that I saved myself a lot of heartache in mishandling this adhesive and the procedure of replacing the gaskets in general. Even if you don't watch instructional videos, at lease wear gloves. This stuff will NOT wash off with soap and water once it begins to set.

I will say this - the price is too high. A small tube of adhesive like this, even being a specialty product, should be approx. 5-8 dollars... not 14. And the major appliance parts websites charge between 25 and 40 for a tube. Rapists... all of them! :)

I have a 25yo washing machine that was shaking during the spin cycle like it was about to explode and take the house with it. I pulled it apart entirely, and replaced the snubber ring equivalent, in this case three teflon pads. I used this adhesive to secure the pads and let it sit for most of a day before reassembling. It seems to have worked perfectly. I wanted to replace the centering springs, but they aren't made any more and it would have taken longer than I had to assemble a set. Luckily, they actually appeared to be in good shape, so I over-lubed everything I could and threw it back together, while giving the springs an extra turn or so to make sure they weren't too loose. The shaking immediately was reduced by more than half, but not entirely gone. Apparently all it needed to do was seat properly, however, because after about 3 or 4 loads, the violent shaking was down to barely a squibble. Running perfectly now. With luck maybe I'll get another 25 years out of it. The parts are all analog, it was totally over-engineered to start with, and I just replaced the timer a couple years ago, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The instructions tells you to apply the glue to both attaching surfaces, wait a specified time for the glue to partially cure and get tacky, then press the two surfaces together. Unfortunately, the instructions didn't tell me that the glue is runny enough to drip off the metal surface of my dryer's rear bulkhead before it gets cured enough for re-assembly. It soaked nicely into the felt belt, but while I was waiting for the glue to get tacky, some of it dripped onto the part of the rear bulkhead that would be inside the dryer drum when assembled. The instructions do tell you to clean off any excessive red glue so it wouldn't discolor your clothes when you use the dryer.

In retrospect, maybe I could detach the rear bulkhead of my dryer so the glue can cure on a level surface. Unfortunately, I found no videos on youtube that warned me of this potential hazard, and that extra disassembly and subsequent reassembly would take even more time and was hard to manage in my small laundry room.

I was in fact impressed with the adhesion of this sealant as it did it's job and prevented the dryer door seal from sagging. So the performance was outstanding, BUT the application process was frustrating. The adhesive acquried a thin/runny consistency so if you aren't careful, it could easily form streaks on your dryer. The drying time for the sealant was daunting because I had discovered that it formed "gummy" blotches on the dryer's cabinet when the door was closed so it peeled away like that of syrup/spider webs. Speaking of residue, the undesired mess that had formed on the dryer was rather easy to remove after it dried because I had simply blotted the areas with nail polish remover in a well ventilated environment. The sealant dries with a brownish/yellow color.
