If you were asked to enter password that does NOT mean you need password for B1 Archiver.
It means that your archive is password-protected, which means that people how created that archive encrypted it with a secret password. Please check this article for most common ways to find password - http://b1.org/help/Where-can-I-get-the-password-to-the-archive.jsp

If you 100% sure that your archive is regular and not protected, but you are still asked for the pass - please send it to support@b1.org for investigation, it might be an issue with the software.

As soon as I installed this on my Kindle Fire HD, my antivirus warnings started going off. I've never had any app from the Amazon store set off a virus warning; this triggered three separate antivirus programs. I've since learned that I'm not alone with this experience and that the app has not been updated in conjunction with general Kindle/Amazon updates in some time. I've received no replies from Catalina regarding my ticket. Since this version is seemingly going unrepaired, wait to see if a new version comes out or simply select one of the other apps performing these functions.

Note: I will be happy to update my review if/when the security issues are addressed.

This app works really well for listening to downloaded books from Librivox. There is sometimes a little funkiness when opening a chapter (Play is already selected, but it isn't playing), but it always works the second time, after I pause and hit Play again. Also, occasionally does not remember my place in a chapter when it crashes due to too many apps open, but I think this is primarily the fault of my phone. On the whole, by far the most intuitive and functional app I have used for this purpose. I also use it to play my music directory. Note that the random button is on by default, so you may need to turn it off (at bottom of screen) if you want to listen to something sequentially.

I have never used this type of app before and I dont really like to spend time reading instructions. I downloaded a zipped file (e-book) to my Kindle HD and then could not access it to load into my library. Went to the app store and found this app. Downloaded. Opened on my Kindle and had immediate access to all my folders. Was able to locate the zipped file, extract contents and then the app provided me with multiple choice options for the next step which made it simple to open the book in my library. Total time to complete the whole process was just a couple of minutes. Two thumbs up!

This worked great on my new Fire HD tablet -- actually, it worked better than expected and I love how it created a folder with lists for me.

The app isn't the easiest to navigate and comprehend (exactly what do I push?) but it was nothing major. I clicked the correct area the first time and experienced no delays in using the app. Honestly, not an issue and no star deductions.

5 stars. It worked quickly and perfectly when I needed it.

It works good to open a .rar file, but it's not a good file manager. Amazon Store doesn't seem to offer a good file manage, CX File Explorer from the Google Play store is better for moving files.
