I only use this app about 15 times a day! It is perfect. I use it on my Kindle Fire HD and it is simple, clean, organized, and quick. That is all I want from an app and that is what I got. It especially love how they catagorize the emails. Social, Promotions, Updates, and Primary. It makes finding what you looking for so much easier!
loved the story - loved the characters - I wish I really knew these people - a very good book and great love scenes. It was trashy but still had some class and boy oh boy did the story come up with big surprises! An easy read and hard to put down - a real 10 star nove!
Even though this app is obviously just a wrapper around a Gmail webpage, it'worth a buck. It does split panel display, which mail will not do from inside Silk. It does do that from inside Chrome, but Chrome itself does not have a full-screen option on the Kindle. This app is superior to the native Kindle mail app for gmail, at least, because it properly handles the Promotions and Social sub-sections of the Gmail inbox. The native app does not.
The one major missing feature is the ability to add atachments to emails. Not sure why that's not in here. Easily worked around, though. For emails that need an attachment, write the draft and then send it from a browser. Minor annoyance,
I like everything about it. Didn't realize my laptop had become a dinosaur. The screen is clear and pretty. I was a bit nervous at first using it but it was simple.
I couldn't log in to my gmail account. Google says the app may not be secure and won't let you log in.
Then I come to find the Kindle Fire has a built-in email manager that lets you add multiple email accounts, at no extra cost. The only good thing about this (cr)app is that I'm only out a few bucks.
Don't make the same mistake I did with this dud, avoid it like COVID-19.
This is a difficult clunky work around for the efficiency that is offered in the comparable Gmail app available on iOS and Android devices.
Because it lacks the ability to do the full Google suite of items incorporated into the product it makes it impossible for me to use the Fire Tablet as a device to work remotely.
So far so good. It is only a buck. Just a buck, and to those who said it only works sometimes well I hope that is not the case. I guess on!y time will tell. It downloaded quickly. My emails were there.
