I have tried all kinds of products to open my chronically stuffy nose at night during sleep. From the external tape strips that eventually peel skin off my nose, to the ones that have a cone shape that just adds more material in my nostrils (and actually hurts in the length). While nothin up your nose is truly comfortable, this item is one that is the least obtrusive, lasts a really long time, stays in place and allows a nice breath flow. It rinses off easily and I place them in my UV sanitizer sometimes to give an extra cleaning. Each piece lasts me for several months, and would probably last longer, but I don't want to super-exceed the recommendations.

    I paid for these myself.

I don't just love them I need them. I've got a deviated septum and nighttime is no fun when one must breathe through one's dry parched mouth night after suffocating night. These really do help! I panic if I don't have them at bedtime. Those strip ones leave residue and are so hard to position. These take a bit getting used to but then you won't be able to sleep without them!

Rinse them with soap and a squirt of rubbing alcohol, let them air dry and they last way longer than advertised

    Caveat!
They hurt in the beginning until you build up your tolerance. Stretch out the septum area for the first few times. Make sure the plastic is smooth where it grips your septum. Shove the wings into the side that needs more air flow and find an area that can take the pressure needed to lift up your nostril. Good luck and Godspeed.

Stay strong and breathe clear my stuffy brothers and sisters!!

Occasionally a little uncomfortable, occasionally fall out while I'm sleeping, but for the most part they work really well at keeping my double-deviated-septum nose open. They appear to be good for multiple usage, I haven't had one wear out on me yet, though I don't wear them every night. But the nights I do wear them I get extra good sleep. Breathing rocks!

I've been using this item for over a year now and it's the first time I can breath through my nose all night long. It's amazing how this opens up the passages. It might take you awhile to get use to it, but give it a chance. I'm a side sleeper and could never sleep on my right because my nostril tended to collapse so I tossed and turned all night long. With this, I can sleep on my right side and tend to sleep soundly all night long. I rinse mine off each morning and it can be reused for a long, long time.

This is seriously my life saver. I had sleep studies done and would wake up gasping for air before. I’m not overweight at all and I was worried I had sleep apnea. I do have a defeated septum and after getting these simple products, I sleep sooooo much better. I can actually breath. I’ve told my friends and family about them and they’ve got them too now. They are incredible, simple and genius items to help people sleep better!

I don't know why this curves inward to put pressure on your septum. I think they did that to hold it in your nose, but to me it makes sense to have the tension of the 'wings' on the walls of your nostrils do the holding. This was painful and irritating for me. Finding better luck with a different product.

SleepRight Nasal Breathe Aids are the ONLY breathing aids that I Love!! I have used them nightly for several years, and Here is the only place I can still find them!!
They open my nasal passages just enough to make breathing Easy!!
My problem is about half way to the bridge of my nose. These Aids open my nose EXACTLY where I need it!!
I've tried the Nasal Strips, they are good, but the skin on my nose can't take the adhesive-Removal every morning!
And the 'Straws' type Aids are useless for me, they don't Open Up the Nasal Passages enough.
If these fit tight at first, gently spread them a bit. They are easy to work with.
