Having PCOS, confirmed having anovulation, and having spent several thousands of dollars at fertility clinics to try to get to the root of things only coming up with the possibility of having to take Clomid (which doesn’t guarantee ovulation, and ovulation doesn’t guarantee pregnancy), I was searching for a more natural way to regulate my body and make it function “like a normal person.” After doing many different diets in the past (such as Paleo and Keto), each with their own benefits, none have properly brought my body to a place where it was functioning properly on its own. After reading WomanCode and learning SO MUCH (I already research so much, I am honestly shocked when I learn anything new at all), I implemented the diet and lifestyle protocol 100%, even getting everything organic because I was fully ready to be fully committed to do WHATEVER it takes. (In addition, I added several herbal supplements as recommended by the NaturalFertilityInfo website). About a month later I had confirmed ovulation and then from the same cycle confirmed positive pregnancy test. I am now 2 months pregnant for the first time ever! Thank you natural healing brought on by WomanCode! And no side effects like the ones pharmaceutical drugs bring on! I will say based on how much this makes sense I fully expected to be pregnant at some point this year but was shocked when it happened so fast, the WomanCode way of living is the best way!

    About a year after moving to New York City, I started having two periods per month, sometimes menstruating for 14 days at a time. They were incredibly painful, my emotions were all over the place, and my skin was breaking out like never before. I often experienced bleeding during sexual contact, and was consumed with worry about my health.     This is absolutely the BEST book I've ever read about women's health.
    Honestly, I thought this book was going to be a bust. I only gave it a shot because I had tried everything else. I never expected to stick with it, but it's become second nature and now I can't see myself ever going back. It has completely changed the way I eat, exercise, work and live--it's helped me balance my hormones, eliminate skin issues, manage my blood sugar, improve my sleep patterns, minimize my PMS mood swings and cramps, and understand my body better. This month is the first time in the 12 years since I first got my period that I didn't take a single pain pill. I used ginger and a heating pad for some minor cramps. Amazing!

    If you have thyroid issues, PCOS, painful cycles, fertility problems, missed cycles, acne, weight problems, fatigue, depression, endometriosis, any hormonal issues (or even if you think you have no issues)--buy this book, download the app, and start reading her website, FLO Living. A lot of people point out that the book is a little repetitive at times and doesn't go into as much detail as they'd like. I think this is partially true, but the book is like the foundation. The other resources are the stepping stones to build on the foundation. Use them all! We have to be proactive about our health and do some of our own investigating--so no, she doesn't hand you everything. But if you spend a couple days reading more specific topics that pertain to your issues on her website, you can basically build the protocol tailored to your needs.

    Ultimately, there is no reason we should have to live with hormonal issues at any age. It's not normal. Once I really thought about it, it made sense. Why do we try to do the same things day in and out (eating the same foods, doing the same exercises, etc) when as women, our hormones fluctuate on a weekly basis where our bodies need different things to thrive? Why aren't we supporting these hormonal changes every week so we can live our best lives? Once you know how to do it, it's simple!

    This is a fantastic informative and engaging book. I haven't finished it yet but already I recommend it to every single young woman.
    This book was highly recommended by a fitness and lifestyle influencer called Lucy May, I decided to snap it up along with thousands of other women just like me because at the time there was only one copy left and I managed to buy it!

    The book goes into full detail about the our cycles and how things can affect them such as diet, stress, weight and many other factors. It has helped me to understand my body more and basically listen to it, it has also given me the motivation I needed to eat more healthy and do more exercise.

    For those who suffer with bad periods, PCOS, irregular periods, PMS or maybe you would just like to know what our amazing bodies can do in detail then I recommend you buy this book if you can! You will not regret it.
