    I want everyone to know about this app!
    Free books in different categories such as fiction, non-fiction (self help, cookbooks, how to, etc.), romance, sci-fi, diets, childrens, teens, Christian, erotica, the list goes on.

    I like the ability to set it up so that the categories I am not interested in, are hidden. I can change this at any time.

    There is no search; what you see is what you get to scope out.

    They become yours and they don't expire.

    Each book has reviews and recommendation ratings via star system.

    The actual "book" price is listed as well as the digital book price (what it costs before the free day and what it will cost the following day when it is no longer free.

    I live in the EST zone and have noticed that the free book list USUALLY updates between 2:30 and 3:00 a.m. however, from what I have read, the administrator of this outstanding app is apparently doing us all the huge favor of personally searching for these wonderful freebies.

    As this must be a very time consuming task, the free book list several times a week, doesn't update until later in the afternoon however, the administrator leaves a nice message before the opening page to let you know it hasn't been updated yet, that you can continue to look at the listing from the day before, but they also warn to double check the price (too see if it is for some reason, still FREE) before hitting "BUY." Also, you are kindly asked to check back later.
    I have seen new lists each and every day; a day may be late but it is not skipped.

    I had actually considered paying the monthly fee or purchase Amazon Prime just for the books but hey, because of this outstanding app and the administrator behind it all, reading just got free and I save the $99 Amazon Prime annual fee!

    I look forward to checking the list on a daily basis; it's like getting a smorgasbord of birthday giftsð where you decide which ones you want; no strings attached!

    This truly us my favorite app and I would like to thank the administrator for all the heart work of putting it together on a daily basis for us all. Bravo! ð

    This is a great app. It's fast, very easy to use and has a good, well-rounded selection of eBooks. To use, tap on the app to open...and then just tap on a book that's displayed (the app gives a very brief synopsis & category listing)....you will then be automatically taken to the book on Amazon; where you can read a more detailed synopsis, read a sample from the book, with options from Amazon to download a sample of the book, buy the book, or return to the app. All accomplished in mere moments. Additionally, the app itself is preconfigured to accomplish this without one having to do anything. That said, the app does allow for individual customization, just open "setting" and select/ deselect the ebook categories that are of Interest. Other than taping on a book to select it, scroll up and down the listings to get to other books. The app loads very quickly. One really nice feature of this app, is that when you tap on an ebook to be taken to the Amazon web page....the app will remind you to "check the price" before purchasing. The app apparently updates daily. While I don't know the background of it's developer, I would not be surprised if our included Library Science. Again, great app.

    If I had one request, it would be that it had a option to include eBooks on a separate page/ at the end of the list (as in the free selections)....but for purchase.

    Tried to download the "Overdrive" application to use to download ebooks and audio ebooks from my Public Library. When I used the search function on my Kindle Fire I kept getting this application which is not the one the Library uses. Every time I tried to make a different selection in the list of applications that kept appearing, I either got this app or a message that said that the app I had selected was not found. Really an exasperating experience, and I was never able to get to the app I needed. I now have a Zoom appointment with the library to try to sort out what the issues are. Just an FYI I was able to download the app I needed on an Ipad without and issues at all. I guess some devices are much better than others.

    Call me jaded, but putting the words "free" and "books" together generally means "these aren't very good". Even at garage sales, seeing the books in the "Free!" box isn't a rousing endorsement.

    This little app gives you a number of books that fall into the good, the bad, and the yawn. As with the whole of Amazon, the books cover all manner of reading matter. The good are those kinds that you personally like. Likewise, the bad you don't, and the yawns evoke "so what". It's an invitation to try something new. (I seldom read fiction, but have found a few gems.)

    It doesn't update when a book changes from free to priced. They warn you to look at the price before buying. Still, it's annoying to go get it and find a price instead of zeroes. Depending on the time you browse the app, you might find yesterday's books still listed.That's when you really need to watch for a probable price.

    I do recommend this app. Just be aware of the "yesterday's books" warning and the free/price dilemma. It's worth checking out, because if it's today's list (instead of yesterday's) you'll usually get the book free.
