    I'm giving this movie 4 stars (not 5 and I'll explain why later). I loved the story; the supporting characters were excellent, namely Blythe Danner as the grandmother and Riley Thomas Stewart as the young boy Ben, but mostly because of Zac Efron. He does a wonderful job portraying Logan, a quiet soft spoken ex-marine setting out on a mission to find the girl in a photo he found, who he feels saved his life and now considers her his angel. When he finds her, he can’t quite find the words to tell her why he is there but instead, he finds some peace and solitude working for her family's dog kennel business. The training and care he puts in with the animals seems to be a sort of therapy for him after three very grueling tours in Iraq. Zac Efron has come a long way from his High School Musical days.

    The reason I didn't give it that 5th star is specifically because of the female lead, Taylor Schilling. While she seems to be a very fine actress, she looked and acted much older than her part. Like she was more of a 30 something snooty divorcee and didn't match up at all with Efron's character of Logan, who was identified as 25 years old. The extras on the DVD touted the amazing chemistry between them but I just didn't see it. It was kind of creepy in that it felt like she was the older teacher seducing her younger student.

    All in all a good movie, but it would have been better had they cast a younger actress or at least an actress that could look and act younger to match up better with Zac Efron.
